From a newbie: let me get this straight (!)
« on: February 25, 2018, 09:10:29 PM »

Sorry for the naivety of the question, I am new to the community and the forum is so big, I could not get a quick answer to my doubt..
I don't understand well the principle at the base of the usefulness of VED (I never tried it, I don't even have the device yet)
Is it beneficial because erections are "in general" beneficial for Peyronie's ?
I mean, the erection gently stretch the scar and somehow help to soften and loosen the scar tissue ?
And the increased blood flow in the area i guess is beneficial too ?
If this is the case, natural erections are anyway to be sought and kept as long as possible, and as often as possible ?
And also gentle intercourse, with penetration in a vagina, staying almost still inside or only gently moving, for long time like 30 minutes or even 1 hour, could be beneficial too ?
Or even somehow substitute excellently VED sessions ?
And by the way, PDE-5 inhibitors are thought to be useful for Peyronies Disease for the same reason ? To prolong erections because they are beneficial in themselves ?
Thanks in advance for answers ..

I can answer some of your questions.

I mean, the erection gently stretch the scar and somehow help to soften and loosen the scar tissue ?   Yes, traction can also do this

And the increased blood flow in the area i guess is beneficial too ?  Yes

And also gentle intercourse, with penetration in a vagina, staying almost still inside or only gently moving, for long time like 30 minutes or even 1 hour, could be beneficial too ?  While this might be enjoyable, it does not help your peyronies as the vagina will bend to accommodate your angle. The purpose of a VED is to force tension on your scar tension. Just having intercourse for an extended period will not to do this.

Scarring is not isolated, meaning that it appears as a result of hypoxia and fibrosis, and inflammation trapped in damaged areas of the penis. This means that the scar is the tip of the iceberg, as far as what is going on near or under the scar. This also means that improving the health of your penile tissue is absolutely critical. Cialis, hard erections, VED, etc, all pull blood into these areas with poor health. Eventually this can help remodel the penis, but remember that penile health is the goal, and scarring doesn't really exist on a penis with good health. I know there are counter arguments to this, but this is the best mental model I have come up with personally.

It would be pretty funny if the cure for peyronies was to put your penis into a vagina and sit there without moving for 30- 1hr

I agree it sounds funny..   :)  and enjoyable too !  :)
Of course, not as a cure, just one more little help, maybe..?
Doesn't it make a little sense at all ..?
Dental braces can actually move your teeth around your mouth by applying a small force for an extended period of time..
If you try to move them by applying a greater force for short periods I guess it will not be as successful..
Or posture, good or bad, it can actually change the shape of your body by applying small forces for extended periods..
The body usually responds better to mild but prolonged forces than to stronger and shorter ones..
Still, I guess this is probably just a funny idea.. ;)
