cheeznips

7/4/2017 - I was having sex in the missionary position, and she moved her hips in a weird direction.
heard a crack, and felt sharp pain in shaft of the penis. immediately stop, she is worried but I say it's ok and I finish.
I don't think I had any bruising or swelling, but I was in shock. she did ask if we should
go to the hospital, but I said no, because there wasn't any bruising or swelling. After the injury
We tried many times to have sex after that but penis wouldn't get erect. penis kept buckling in area with scar tissue from previous injury at age 19
when trying to insert penis into vagina. but, we did have successful sex in the morning.

for months I had sharp and dull pains in my urethra. very painful, Penis hurt when flaccid and erect, pain in perineum area. urethra also burned really bad when urinating.
I had a weak stream, I had to kind of push the urine out.

8/21/2017 -  I suspected STD/UTI so I go to get test. Results come back negative.

I was having really bad trouble with erectile dysfunction. So, I go to see my urologist about pain and E.D. Dr. Chun tells me doppler ultrasound comes back negative for penile fracture,
and prescribes me pentoxifylline, doxycycline, and Cialis. tells me it was possible that I tore/injured Corpus Cavernosum, but no sign of tunica tear.

10/24/2017 - get ultrasound penile arterial flow. right artery is small with a peak systolic velocity 6cm per second. Left artery is 1mm and has a peak systolic velocity 14cm per second. No soft
tissue swelling or focal mass is evident. Ultrasound is done flaccid and 3 Months after injury.

7/4/2017-2/4/2018 urethra is completely numb. It's never been numb like this before. this type of numbness feels like nerves are completely dead.
suspecting urethral fracture, urethral stricture, corpus spongiosum fracture, penile septum fracture?
a hard cord like structure has appeared on the bottom right side shaft of penis. Cord is very hard, can be felt when flaccid and erect,
appears in base of underside of shaft in between corpus cavernosum and corpus spongiosum. It feels like a hard vein, has no pain. could this be plaque or scar tissue from previous
injury or swollen lymph vessel? penis is no longer flexible when flaccid, it is constantly stiff. Biggest problem is numbness of urethra, and numbness of underside of penis.
one good news is that I'm starting to get erectile function back. I have some mild E.D, but I'm having successful intercourse. No morning erections. There are certain a certain spot
where i did have extreme burning of urthra after injury. This spot currently has no feeling what so ever now.

questions
1.is there a procedure when I can check my urethra for plaque or scar tissue e.g. urethral stricture?
2.could I have possibly fractured my urethra or corpus spongiosum or penile septal fracture? Dr Chun did state that I could have scar tissue in septal part of penis
3.could the cord be plaque or swollen lymph vessel?
4. will my nerves restore prior to injury? how long? its already been 7 months so far.

previous injuries
I could have had a penile fracture when I was 19 when I pushed down on my penis. this lead to numbness, but as the years past I regained little sensitivity in urethra and underside, until previous injury.

i really need help this has been extremely stressful, I've been missing classes because i cant go to sleep at night so i stay up all night researching this damn problem, then i go to sleep super late and end up missing my classes. i'm worried that i really fractured my urethra or CS. I'm really worried. The girl i was having sex with was really overweight and extremely uncoordinated. I'm afraid with all that pressure she did some serious damage. So my urologist is referring me to a urologist who specializes in the urethra. So i'm going to call the urologist first thing in the morning and set up an appointment.

sully

It sounds like you are getting the right referrals for now.  See what you find out from the urethra specialist... never knew there was such a thing, but glad for your/our unique issues.

I'd recommend laying off sexual activity until you know what's going on, to make sure you are not causing more trauma.

cheeznips

sully

well he's just a urologist who specializes in urethral strictures.

cheeznips

i'm so mad at myself for not going to the emergency room when it happened. I knew i hard a sharp pain, and i knew i heard a crack. I should have just gave the girl $20 to see a movie while i go to the emergency room. F~@penile fracture. But, even if i went would they even give me a Doppler ultrasound? or given me surgery? there was no bruising, or hematoma, or swelling. the last time i saw my urologist he said that he was pretty sure that i didn't tear my tunica. but, he did say i could of damaged my corpus Cavernosum. So does that mean that even if i did go to the emergency room, they would just deny me treatment because i had no bruising or swelling?

suicidecomingsoon

One question, do you have soft glans now (after the injury) ?

As far as I know, penis fractures should be operated within 48 hours or so for the surgery to be successful

cheeznips

i did have soft glans for a while after the injury, but not anymore. yeah, i know penile fractures should be operated within a 48 hours thats why im so pissed at myself for not going. i kinda went into shock, but my urologist did say he was pretty sure i didn't tear my tunica from my doppler ultrasound results.

Pfract

Dude.... why are you not going to a proper sexual medicine specialist that specializes in Penile fractures? i already told you where you should be going, because, guess what, I ALSO FRACTURED MY PENIS! BUT NO.... you post all kinds of stuff in denial, and apparently you want to loose time with referrals for stuff you most likely do not have. LOL at this point, it's funny because you don't even know exactly what are the consequences of penile fractures, and is pretty evident that you have not read everything about them.

Also, i already advised you on this, but you gave me atittude and did not care. Seriously... i don't know dude... also.. those blood flow values... is that soft or erect? because that is very low blood flow...

cheeznips

but at a medical stand point it doesn't really matter if i had a penile fracture or not because it's been past many months since the injury. Your so focused on if I fractured my penis or not. The damage was done and now i have to figure out if i damaged my urethra or corpus spongiosum to figure out why i have numbness from my urethra and the underside of my penis. A urologist who specializes in the urethra can tell me if i have scar tissue in my urethra or not.

Oh, and the doppler ultrasound was done flaccid. This was done 3 months after the injury

Oh Boy

Same situation I'm in cheeznips,

I injured myself twice. Once as a child playing around i bent it to far and snap! No bleeding no swelling no pain no discoloration.
then when I was a teen playing football (soccer), someone kneed me in the upper groin catching my penis between the knee and hip (where the pelvis means the leg). Oh well, no bleeding no discoloration, no swelling but it hurt for a minute with lingering pain for another 5 or so.

Now I have bad scar tissue causing me to bend and having indentation and a flex point at the middle of my shaft. I want to go to Kuehhas for some type of corrective surgery to put my mind at rest. The football one hurt badly but the one that really causing me the most problems was the one when i was a child. I wake up every morning hating myself wishing I was someone different. I honestly hate who I am and what I did. So I understand what you are saying. The truth is that if you went to the ER you probably wouldn't have gotten surgery. Nor are there any medicines that would have prevented the scar from forming. Nothing you could have done but prevent it from happening.

Go to your uro and continue to fight. Ask me anything if you like maybe we can relate.

cheeznips

thx, oh boy. I'm definitely gonna see this urologist and try to figure out if i have scar tissue in my urethra or my corpus spongiosum. I'm gonna try my best to be positive. For now i'm gonna leave him alone. I find that heat really helps him relax in the flaccid state. i'm also gonna keep taking coq10, i'm kinda on the fence with acetyl-L-carnitine though.

Again, you show that you don't know what you are talking about. Yes, it does make a difference, especially to determine the course of action to take.... as for that "numbness inside the penis"... have you thought about what you are writing there? it's like saying you have numbness inside your stomach or your arm or some other limb. It makes no sense.

Also... the ultrasounds have to be done to an erect penis, after you get a Caverject, Bimix or Trimix injection, with manual penile stimulation, but without ejaculation, so you know exactly where the fibrosis is, and what size it has, and also your proper bloodflow and venous leak, or it's absence.

But you, and that "oh boy" guy are both in denial of this stuff. More and more i feel frustrated about trying to help other guys with this.... why do i keep waisting my time trying to put some sense into guys that can't even go to pubmed and read the basics about penile fractures,it's management and the most common outcomes?

cheeznips

pfract,

well the numbness i'm guessing is from the fracture. I probably re injured the nerves the second time i fractured it. I guess time can only tell whether i get my nerves back or not.
Do you not have any numbness at all from your fracture?

i actually asked my urologist about taking the the Doppler ultrasound erect, and he said it doesn't matter whether if it's being done hard or flaccid.

He said tunica albuginea was completely intact, and i could of injured the corpus Cavernosum or the spongiosum without tearing the tunica. He also said that even if  i did go to the e.r
there would of been nothing they could of done because there was no tear in the tunica abuginea. so surgery would have been impossible.
