Is it possible for your peyronies to be so severe that a surgeon will not install an implant? In my case i do not have any curve but my whole penis is scarred to the point where i fear when i go to the consultation before the surgery the surgeon will say that my penis does not have good enough elasticity and thus installing an implant will cause further trauma/injury... Am i over thinking this or is that a legitimate concern? Im not exaggerating when i say 90% of my penis is scar tissue.. There is hardly any healthy tissue left. By the way i am using dr andrew kramer from Baltimore as my implant surgeon. He is supposed to be one of the best in the business for implant surgery according to the guys on FT forums.

Your concern could be legitimate
Have you consulted this to Kramer?

No i just told him i have severe peyronies disease but im pretty sure no surgeons have not seen a penis with as much scars as i have. At least not an implant surgeon.. I live in st louis mo so i am traveling to Baltimore to get the procedure from kramer. The consultation is the day before the surgery so probably won't know until then.

Well, from what I've seen of his videos he's dealt w sone heaving scarring of the cavernosa—so if anyone can handle it I think it's him.  Good luck and keep us posted.

As i understand the problem would be that the surgeon cant dilate the corpora cavernosum to make the holes where to place the implant. I read about such a case in FT, BUT his case was very serious because he had cancer in the pelvis as a child and was subjected to radiation, so he had a lot of fribrosis, again BUT he was sent to another surgeon who through (If i remember well) a subcoronal incision and grafting performed the operation and it went well. And now he has his implant.
I imagine your case is less serious

I think, although im not sure that the biggest problem for not being able to do the implant would be that you had fibrosis inside the corpora cavernosum not so much in the tunic. But this is just supposition

I have lesions on the underside of the shaft as well as the  top and glans. It does have decent elasticity considering the sheer amount of scarring but still... I get Inflammation pretty badly from masturbation so even though the scars fo stretch decently the erections are still causing it to be inflamed. The force from the implant might be too much and cause further injuries would be my biggest concern.

What type of injury do you have on glans?
I dont think that implant can cause more injuries, I mean curve or bend obviously the surgery will cause some of fibrosis (as its a surgery where they open and make holes in corpus Cavernosum) and it is suppose that with cycling it ll break the plaques, maybe it can cause fibrosis on the tunica but that fibrosis wont can bend your implant, due to the implant is stronger and it will straighten it

The fibrosis on glans is the same as the shaft i assumed or is that not correct? I also do not understand the difference between scarring on the cavernosa vs the tunica.. If someone could explain?

I understand in almost all  cases from peyronie the fibrosis is on the tunica not in corpus Cavernosum

Yes that is what ive heard as well. Interesting enough though the first non peyronies specialist i went to initially diagnosed me with fibrosis on the corpus cavernosa. But again he was not a peyronies specialist so i dont think he knew what he was talking about.

Yes, I've read about fibrous corpus cavaneros making implants more difficult.  Not sure if it's due to s condition other than peyroinnes, or just more invasive.
