Peyronie's destroyed my life and career

Hey guys,

Well I guess it's been some years since I posted. I got peyronie's when I was 23 (I'm 31 now) after a drunken night of trying to have sex half-erect. Prior to peyronie's I was really proud of what I had, 6.2" but extremely extremely thick. Now, I guess its about 5" and 1/3 as thick as previously. The condition has stabilized, and I really don't have a curvature that is too dissimilar from a congenital one, which I had prior to peyronie's anyway but which didn't create much of a problem. The lasting emotional damage is constantly remembering how I felt self-esteem wise prior.

So I got it after a drunken night, when I was 23. I visited the urologist, but it was at a community hospital so he didn't have much positive advice. Right around this time I had lost health insurance. I had very painful erections for about two years after, and the curvature was more pronounced. What started as a few percocet to deal with the pain, turned into an insatiable 3 year habit. I had to drop out of medical school, and by the time I dealt with the problem I was pretty much broke. I was using the drug to numb myself emotionally, and not physically as the pain had largely subsided. The feeling of pride I got engaging in sex with my previous size, I replaced with the way the drug made me feel, but of course it turned into its own nightmare.

Luckily, I've rebuilt my career, although the ship for becoming a physician has since sailed. In any case, I'm earning 6 figures now, and I have amazing medical benefits. I never properly treated it because I was too consumed with substance abuse. I'm now in a position where I can look into treating it, although it would be to restore size rather than deal with any curvature as it's not pronounced enough that I think I'd be a Xiaflex candidate. I'm hoping too much time has not elapsed since, and if not, I'd love to hear from some members who could guide me towards the most efficacious treatment options for my goals. One challenge though, is that I'm a defense contractor living in a middle eastern country, and 'sexual aids' of any kind are illegal, though I think I could disguise some of the items. All necessary medications are available over the counter and at a steeply discounted price to American standards.

Sounds horrible and relateable. I'm 23 and still unable to start at all.. I'm now getting my taxi drivers license because it's all I feel like doing right now, not because it's a dream carreer. I keep focussed on having this crap permanently fixed and live fo4 a day I too can have a big dick. I'm F~

No treatment at all....The condition stabilized over time.

I believe there are traction studies that show some can regain varying amounts of length and girth.  I think they have been referenced somewhere on this site.  Good for you for moving on, this disease can be devastating!
