Is there ever gonna be a true cure or will they keep coming up with useless treatments? I wish there was some progression in regenerating tissue again.

What's the point in open up many threads like this popopo? My suggestion just take a break from this forum for a while it's just harmful hanging around here all the time..
I'm trying myself I know it's hard, but the answers you'll be given e are pretty the same and they won't change anytime soon, and they will be led by the feelings that the people are experiencing in that moment and nothing else. We are no doctor nor researchers.

What I can say it's I do believe the future will be bright for the coming generations and indeed we are about to enter a the regenerative era but it could be tomorrow, next year or 5 years away. It might be rilevant for us, and it might not..

There is the same hope for curing Peyronie's as there is curing Cancer, Diabetes, and Heart Disease. Well, less given that Peyronie's is so under-researched. That doesn't mean you can't improve your situation or prevent the disease from worsening. All the above diseases, and Peyronie's have been shown to be linked in some way or another anyway.

Use the treatments, and never give up on yourself. There are girls waiting for you right now, don't stay stuck in the pain mentality.

My first main curve is greatly reduced, and my new indentation did get me quite unhappy, but that is smoothed out too now. Something is working, between the traction and the low blood sugar.

But probably not for us. What's the point if solution will be found when you're like 70 or 80 years old or even we all be dead at the time? I'm so tired of this and absolutely agree with popopo. There's three types of male's problems that currently can't be cured and a lot, I mean A LOT of male population around the world are suffering from: 1. Peyronie's Disease 2. Prostatitis 3. Small penis size and micropenis. And there's no cure for all of 3 of these problems and we are almost in 2018! Sometimes I feel like it's all just a nightmare and I'll wake up soon, but nothing is changing... Maybe it sounds too pessimistic, but if you a realistic person, you know that is all true.

P.S. Sometimes I think that even peoples like Anthony Atala is just a scammers who're only want to got money from government and didn't do their work. What if they're just make visibility of work with zero real results? Just think about it: Atala started project of growing penile tissue in the lab in 1992, in 2017 (i.e 25 years after starting point of the project) this option is still unavailable and not even tested and not FDA approved. How many years we should suffer, before it's happening? Same crap with stem-cell technologies (no real results, no new options on horizon), same crap with DNA-editing and CRISPR technology.

Sincerely I think the same as popopo and alex, people who dont suffer this problem dont give importance (doctors or other men and of course women) they think isnt important because it doesnt kill you, but the reality is that it is worse that death because it kills you in life, lets be honest this makes you a zombie, a person without ambitions. So with the mentality of society nothing new will come apart from the surgeries we already know and this is how it is.
And I dont now what to think about atala, I think they are focused on other problems / organs and they dont pay much attention to the penis .. They cured vaginas and things like that, but the penis doesnt deserve their effort of course ..

I somewhat agree, unfortunately these days the penis is taboo, whereas (it seems) all female form is common place in society and media. We need to get back to simpler times, the ancient Greeks worshiped the male form, alas for the most part we are these days simply ignored in medicine, and asked to spend $$$$ on devices that at best moderate the condition.

To give up hope however is a negative and defeatist attitude, anything you try that brings even the slightest relief/improvement means we move forward, to that end that's what this forum is for, moral support, practical help should/could be on the horizon, however;

The variety of treatment options for Peyronie's disease is testament to the serious need that remains for an effective treatment

Please guys keep posting, whether positive or negative this forum is IMHO 'invaluable' in my learning to deal with this, yes its a sh!^^y disease indeed  :'(

True, someone I met at a rehab clinic a while back told.me his sister had similar indecurities as us but about her breast size. (He also told me he did jelqing too and had some results, funny guy he was and made me feel less wierd for having done these exercises). He told me that his sister actually had an insurance company pay for breast enlargement because it was "emotionally damaging" her. In contrast, I get send to a psychiatrist who diagnosed me with BDD makeing it so most docs treat me like a hypochondric. It sucks, but I'm sure society will change into a more masculine direction again. For every third wave feminist there is a "redpill" male thinking in the complete opposite direction.

Don't give up hope, guys. True there is no magic bullet, but there are many success stories out there, including my own. Traction combined with VED and vit e and some other anti inflammatory's can help. Its a long road for sure, I used traction 4+ hours a day for over 6 months before combining that with VED.

2 yrs ago I had a severely curved penis - some 70deg+ Which included badly calcified plaque.

I tried everything you've ever heard of and probably some you haven't. Nothing mitigated the curvature and eventually my penis was sexually unusable - that's if I could even get it up!

I had nothing left to lose so decided that Xiaflex or surgery were the only options left. I read as much as I could and decided that surgery, if necessary, via The Egydio Technique was my best bet. I booked an initial consultation.  It was decided that given my degree of curvature and the presence of considerable calcification that Xiaflex would at best give me a 35% improvement on my curvature. That's if it worked at all - there are no guarantees with Xiaflex. So, surgery it had to be.

My surgery went well. And now, almost 2 yrs later, I'm pretty much back to what I used to be. My penis is dead straight, works as it should, etc. I'm a little down on length and it doesn't feel quite the same - but i guess that's not unusual given what it's been through. However, sensation etc is all there and it works just as it should.

I can't pretend it's that easy. Recovery, or degree of,  takes a lot of imput from you. Many hours of traction, VED, stretching. I still use my Phallosan now to maintain and try to get back my last little bit of length. It's been a long road, but worth it.

So, yes, there is hope. It's not easy and it's not cheap. But if a case as severe as mine can be rectified then most cases should also be.

Hopefully, a better, simpler treatment will arrive one day soon.

Yes... There are potential 'silver bullet' cures. An israel firm has developed an enzyme injection. Forgive me. I don't recall the company name from mind.

Unfortunately, due to xiaflex copyright infringement. Nobody is permitted to bring an injectable cure to the market. Untill copyright expires. There is some time yet. Its a complicated legal mine field.

Treatment involves injections. Followed by 6 months penile modelling.

It's a shame the law does not prioritise health over profit. It should not be so. It's wrong.
Latest routine. Started l-lysine 3mg daily, l-proline 5mg daily. Increased vit c intake. Accompanied with almost daily vacuum therapy. Pumping to 100% Exercise caution! Made good progress. L arginine supplements and prescribed potaba are helping.

I arrive to the conclusion, that my only hope is to be happy what I have, accepted and focus on work, make money, family, friends and enjoy nature. I have male friends that don't have sex for years and they are fine. What I can't do is obsses about my penis 24 hours a day, there is no solution and thats it

I find it surreal that in the 21st century there is still no definitive cure for this curse and men have to resort to surgery and traction devices.  >:(  >:(  >:(

Aren't these plaques made of calcium? Bisphosphonates are used to treat hypercalcaemia, couldn't they be effective in these cases as well?
Psychogenic ED (coital anxiety), 40+yo. Current regimen: udenafil 200mg, oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg, Seredyn.
