Huge PRP study by Kumar in India over 1200 people in the Journal of sexual medicine. .I don't have access to the whole study. Hope the attachment is view able. Although this study looked at PRP as an enhancement esp with micro or small penis, they did note pyronies sufferers with curvature and or loose of length. The results mirrored my own results. Interesting that they used PGE1,A very potent vasodilator in combination with PRP. This may explain why some people esp if they have cardio vascular disease don't respond to the treatment.

Re:What do it mean? It means that there is at the very least the science is beginning to look into this therapy for peyronies. The fact that this study got positive results, and that 6 months later those results were still apparent, could signify that there may be more of a permanent outcome to this therapy as opposed  to what some consider to be merely a temporary result at best.

I am looking into penile PRP myself.

Will probably do it within the next 12 months.
Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

It is interesting for sure, but obviously need to see the full study and also do a bit of research on the researchers and their institution.

Anyone got a link handy to a good explanation of how PRP is meant to work? As science heavy as possible.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Great and somewhat surprising find! My PRP "results" or the effect lasted over a year, and now I can't say much. I think, and always though, the science was sound enough and the basic principle of expansion for remodeling seemed like it made it worthwhile.

On the other hand, it hurt and was somewhat traumatic for me. I also don't like risking injections on the penis! Still, looks like it has potential.

hey incautious, did you get my message? few questions to ask about PRP

I'm curious if the gains were maintained after discontinuation of VED.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

dever

NeoV, can I ask what you mean by "traumatic"?

dever

tropicalpalmtree, do you know someone who is considering having this therapy?

incautious

After 3 1/2 years my gains are still locked in. I still pump frequently. Traction not so much as my flaccid girth has trouble fitting the traction device.

incautious - Since you had such good results, have you thought about having another treatment? Why not do one every 6 or 12 months if it keeps working?

I am going to try it next month when I visit the States.

incautious

I did toy with the idea. However the price is what is keeping me from getting another shot.

NeoV

By traumatic, I just mean having multiple injections in the penis is no fun. It hurt pretty bad and I was very swollen after for a day or so. A lot of guys have had all kinds of penile injections, so it isn't a huge deal, but I would rather avoid it if at all possible.

Unfortunately our forum results were far far away from the new "Research"

So I remain skeptic regarding PRP :)
But definitely my wallet got lighter a bit ;D
