Hello Everyone,

We need to refuse to accept this and be determined to beat it.

I showed my first signs of peyronies 3 months ago and got prescribed pentox and vitamin E right way. I've been using them both 3x's a day consistently for about two months. Haven't seen much of a difference. He said my case was very mild. I have no real curving and some mild ED. My concern is the hourglassing/hinging. The top half gets more engorged. It feels constricting towards the base and has a dent on the underside. Length wasn't effected but the tissue on the underside doesn't have strength/hardness and is slightly thinner so it the erection doesn't go as vertical as it once did. It's also hinges to both sides.

I won't have sex with it until it is better because I don't want to risk further injury.

I'm 27 and healthy.

I am starting traction tonight for 8 hours a day as prescribed.

Does anyone know the best treatment for this type of deformity? Any success account?

What the hell do I do?

Thanks for reading

Scott, welcome, and sorry to hear about your issues. There is a LOT of information here, and many people with good advice, too.

NeoV

Welcome! I had / have hourglassing on the bottom of my penis but reduced it greatly with downward traction by hand over several years. I also stretch my penis under each leg and under my ass (as silly as that sounds) to get a nice reduction in curve. I used to do all kinds of gymnastics when first figuring this out. Be careful if you do decide to stretch by hand. I do think it's by far superior to a device though, due to the angles you can achieve. The behind the butt grip (fowfer as its called in the PE community) really helped me, and continue to have immediate effects on my flaccid penis.

Other than that, get a VED and start mild therapy! You have to be careful with them, but VED are near damn miracle devices for debts and hourglassing.

Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

Both is best IMO, a good day of traction topped of by VED seems to be healthiest (in my experience) for the penis.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

I really wonder if the traction can at times make the scar worse.

They don't teach us this stuff in medical school.

It has been shown in a variety of studies that traction helps both in the stable and the acute phase.

Had reservations at first but very happy I added VED to traction (got a bathmate model). Seems to be more suited for girth problem "dents" as mentioned and plaque near the glans.

I feel like traction made my plaque worse, but oh well.

Try the traction device for traction.  It can provide traction while bending up, down, left, or right based on your curve.  My condition was similar to yours, I occasionally use sildenafil or tadalafil for sex.  That give me a stiff erection along the entire penis ...
55 - Onset May 2017.  38 degree bend up.  Failed Xiaflex treatment.  Still functional so I decided to stop treatments.  Only take 400mg Co-Q10 and occasionally use Restorex

If possible may want to add pentox and low dose cialis to remodel the plaque and to prevent further deformation.
PxD 2 yrs 9/16.  Failed all treatment. 9/11/18: excision, grafting & implant Dr Karpman MtnView Ca, AMS CX 18cm + 3-1cm RTEs.
Pump failed.  2/11/20 Dr Karpman installed Titan 22cm +1cm RTE.

Look into traction device. It's effective for those deformities.

Hi guys here is an update - also traction device looks like a good product I will try it. Whatnext- did traction device cure you?

I went to John Mulhall at MSC in NYC who is supposed to be good at this.

I've had the condition for exactly a year to the date. My curve wasn't too serve maybe 10-15 degrees but the hinge and hourglass and ED was bad enough in my opinion to seek this kind of treatment.

I've read that it can look worse before it gets better. But does the actual healed erection look worse before it gets better? I'm exactly two weeks post second injection. I barely bruised or swelled after the second injection.

The plaque feels smaller and softer but my erection looks significantly worse. The indentations on each side are much deeper. The light bruise that was there after the injection is still there now two weeks later. One of the doctors there said it will change throuout the injection cycles and didn't seemed too worried about this. I will hear from mulhall tomorrow.

I refuse to resort to surgery if Xiaflex doesn't work.

If Xiaflex doesn't work it's basically all over for me.

Someone please help with some info I'm terrified.
