Is anyone else having a problem logging into the forum.  Old Man reported a problem to me and I immediately noticed I had problems.  I cannot login on the initial screen.  I have to click on someone's profile.  When I get the message that only members can see that area, I can log in on the pop-up login screen on that page.

If you are having a problem let us know.  However, you can try clicking on any member name and logging in on that popup screen.

Hawk, yes, I am having problems logging in, I get round it by logging into my private e-mail and retrieving a PM  reply link I have been sent.

I think it is something to do with the last SMF patch  :-\

Okay.. I am set to never log out so I logged out on purpose to see if I would have a problem getting back in. I kept getting a msg that I was not a registered user. It wasnt recognising my password which hasn't changed since I joined. I went through the process to reset my password (I used the same one) and it let me in.

Yes, had the problem also.
I switched to Firefox, was rejected as Stabler wrote.
Opened with Chrome, logged in, no problem.
back to Firefox after a few days, was OK with Firefox also.

Hmmmm, I thought maybe was just Old Man.

I always use Chrome and also always set to keep me logged in. So I did not notice anything.

Nothing has been changed with the forum settings. So no idea what was causing this.

I still have the same problem. However, have used a ''backdoor" entry through a moderator's link which lets me get into the forum with no other problems.

It just takes an extra click on links to get signed on.
