Ok so here it is guys. I've had Peyronies since I was 13, maybe longer. Every time I got an erection I felt painful pulling on the bottomside of my penis where the curvature was. And even if I do get an erection I have trouble keeping it. I have read this could be due to the plaque not allowing the veins to properly trap the blood. Therefore it made it almost impossible to have intercourse and I felt ashamed (still do). As a teenager this had taken a great toll on my life and has led me on a downward spiral leading me to dropout of college. I'm now 26. I have visited a urologist and was only prescribed cialis at the time, he also suggested it could be a mental issue lol. If I have any mental issue, it's caused by peyronies. Anyway I did research when I was a frantic teenager and didn't come across much at the time. The best suggestions at the time was take vitamin e, wait it out and it might go away, or get surgery to add a scar on the opposite side to add to the problem. Anyway I was crushed. I read that the onslaught of this disease is caused by trauma of some sort but it is otherwise unknown. I can't help but think that maybe when I had my first erection as a youngster I didn't know what was going on and bent it to make it go back to normal? Just a theory and I don't really remember this ever happening. But now I've come across this forum and I started feeling some semblance of hope. It warms my heart that some people have been able to beat this f'~c<+d up ailment. I have read many posts and it's inspired me to go for a proactive approach.

First off I have started using a rice sock. I apply it as often as I can now which could help heat up and make the plaque easier to break up as well as bring more blood flow to the area. I will look into hand warmers. Thanks  neo v and wakenbake69. Also I came across this https://patient.info/forums/discuss/unique-self-treatment-cured-my-peyronie-s-disease-526065 the guy here used his own approach to vibration therapy by using a sonicare toothbrush. The idea here is to vibrate the plaque and help break it up and he used the back side of the toothbrush and pushed up against the plaque in circular motion. I have started doing this as of today while making sure to heat up my penis with the rice sock beforehand. It seems like it is able to give a deep vibrating massage so I am hopeful that I will see some success. The poster also said how he applied castor oil after his session which I will look into getting as well. I have also bought a somaerectstf off of amazon for $250 which I saw someone post on here before. It seemed the guy couldn't get it in Australia but everything seems legit and it says that it comes from Augusta medical services which is the original manufacturer. Oh and it seemed to be old man approved which I have quickly found to be the ved guru on here. Happy to say that it will be arriving today and I am excited to start the 26 week program the great minds have put together. I will go very slow and make sure to be safe to avoid creating more damage and if I have any questions I hope you don't mind if I shoot you a pm or two old man. So I plan to heat up with the rice sock, go at it with the sonicare (blast some music), heat up with the rice sock again and then send it in the ved to get compressed and stretched. That's my master plan for now. I just started taking fish oil the other day which will be the only supplement I will be taking for now. I want to see if this needs a more physical approach rather than having to pop 20 pills a day. I will do my best to keep you guys posted and hope you guys the best.

Hi livinghell, two suggestions, regarding the sonicare toothbrush, the lightest pressure on your penis will maximize the vibrations, and look into ground flaxseed instead of fish oil for your omega 3 fats, I take it with vitamin d included when eating cereal

Welcome! I'm very glad you found the forums, and sorry about your symptoms of course. It's great you're doing everything you can. Every treatment, so long as it's safe, is worth trying in my opinion. Even the toothbrush method has some logic behind it, and it's very good that you're trying heat and VED. Definitely consider traction as well, it's been a damn miracle for me. I do have a newish bend from trauma during sex and am working on that still, let's do this man :)

And yes, press lightly for the best vibrations, and do consider extemely healthy eating. Have lots of veggies, fruits, and BERRIES and if you find yourself with extra cash try CoQ10 and other things.

As long as you do everything you can, you'll likely get improvement. My penis is very different, very much better now days than the first year or so.

Thanks Paolo I will most certainly look into ground flaxseed and the more organic method of getting my omega 3's. As for the sonicare I will take both yours and NeoV's advice in account and apply light pressure. Also regarding my diet and fitness. I did use to be very active, work out at the gym including deadlifts and squats. But bouts of depression brought me to a more sedentary lifestyle. I will try to get more active and hopefully seeing some success will help on all fronts. I also do love meat but I will try to eat less and start going healthy per your suggestion NeoV. Also any suggestion on a particular traction device?

Hi livinghell, you are welcome, more suggestions;

Meat is fine, you just need to ensure grass fed beef (high quality), cut down, yes but if it is high quality then once a week treat would be a reward for more exercise. Ah, exercise, have you thought of just body weight squats as an interim for more weighted exercise?

I have a theory that heavy weight lifting is damaging to the bodies arterial condition, if heavy weights are used then cardio afterwards negates stiffening of the arteries that can occur from weights, your blood pressure sky rockets under weight lifting, particularly 'heavy' low reps workouts. The thing with weights is low weight high reps that way cardio isn't necessary.
This is just my theory as how many aged weightlifters do you see around?


Let me know how you get on with the sonicare, I have one and may try it out, suggest emu oil or castor application before using the brush to condition the skin  :)

The problem is I love junk food and fast food Paolo. Definitely not good for my health but I plan to cut a good deal of it out. I definitely agree with you on heavy lifting. Before anything I'd get back in shape by start running and playing some pick up games. I've actually lost 20 lbs recently due to an ulcer which I think is caused from smoking and drinking so I'm down to 160 now. I do have access to p90x or insanity from my brother in law so I was thinking of giving that a shot since it involves mainly body weight like you said.

As for the sonicare I have tried it and I think it is worth giving a shot long term. I've placed it on my arm and it seemed to give an almost ticklish vibration. I found when I gently placed it on the spots where I deem to be plaque it is less ticklish as opposed to other spots on my penis which makes sense. And good idea of using the brush side to condition the oil in. I got some sky organics castor oil coming from amazon today too so I look forward to trying your suggestion.

Hi livinghell, I didn't mean you to use the brush side, please don't do that, I am merely suggesting before you use the reverse side of the brush (back) to use either emu oil, castor oil or indeed aloe vera before starting with it.
I have tried it briefly and it seems it may have some merit, lets see  :), although it appears to cause easy arousal, maybe do it in 2 minute phases.

Be careful with HIIT (insanity) training, generally extreme fitness is required with 'rest' days  :)

Final thought, leave the castor oil on overnight (wear old shorts when sleeping), then wash up next morning  :)

Oh lol my misunderstanding. Nice to see you giving it a go and hopefully it will provide us all with some improvement. As for my somaerectstf, I just got it 30 mins ago and have started fiddling around with it. Cool looking device other than the fact I'm scared I'm gonna break the pump handle. Anyway Old Man has already sent me a pm to offer me any help which I am very thankful for. I hope to get my routine underway soon and pray for progress.
