Hey all I'm a 30 yo guy with fairly new diagnosed peyronie's. So story goes, I was riding my MTB about 8 or 9 months back and hit a root with aprox 25 mph and banged my package directly into the handle bars and *magic* I developed Peyronie's. I'm now waiting for the pain and damage of tissue to stop so I can begin treatment. At first I just had minor pain during sex and then it turned into some serious business. Like a month ago it began to curve and it's getting to the point where sex seems out of question... and it hurts so bad! I can begin Xiapex treatment as soon as my peyronie's stops being active. Until then there's nothing I can do, or so I was told. Is that really so?

I am also relatively new to Peyronies as well, but if you investigate further on here you will see the consensus here is NOT to wait on tackling the condition (I am sure half a dozen guys will echo this sentiment below). It’s good to address it while it’s still in its active phase (first 6-18 months) to ensure that plaques (the thing causing your curves) do not calcify. After the active phase it becomes chronic (i.e., calcifies) and becomes very difficult to reverse. I believe Xiaflex is only used once things have stabilized and your curve has reached a certain point where sex is difficult/impossible (I don't know much about it though). There are are other options in the meantime, which will hopefully make Xiaflex unnecessary.

The most common/recommended treatment is Pentox (aka Trental), an oral medication usually taken in conjunction with Cialis and L-Arginine (PAV). Unfortunately, some guys find it difficult getting a Pentox prescription as it's an off-label treatment for Peyronies. Other popular supplements include CoQ10 and Acetyl-L-Carnitine. On top of that you can try devices like a VED or traction. I found it useful.

I also suggest posting more about your specific symptoms (degree of curve, Erectile Dysfunction problems, dents etc.) so people can provide specific solutions. Best of luck.

Thanks for the info. I can't get any medicine for this condition in my country our laws are pretty strict regarding this so no Pentox or anything. I've got like two seperate knots where as one of them faded out quite fast and stopped growing and just made a dent while the other knot keeps hurting and growing in lenght. So basically I've got a little twist and a bend roughly 30 degrees. The bend seem to be stable for now but it's obviously still inflamed so that might change. Also the lenght has decreased but I was lucky enough to be well equiped by nature so that's not a concern of mine. I've thought about buying a traction device as I've read people had good experiences with those

Random, I have no experience with traction but you would be wise to not entertain traction (at this time) if you have knot/s that are inflamed IMHO

@Paolo, maybe not. Intuitively it seems wrong to use traction in the acute phase, but we are fortunate that a study has been run on exactly this:

CONCLUSIONS:

PTT seems an effective treatment for the AP of Peyronies Disease in terms of pain reduction, penile curvature decrease, and improvement in sexual function.

Now, does that mean it is safe for the OP to use right now? Don't know, as without ultrasound information we don't know exactly what is going on.

Ultrasound showed nothing according to the urologist so no calcification apparently but that was like a month and a half ago so that might have changed

So it's been a while since I wrote here last. Have had some appointments with different doctors at a hospital and thought I would up date my post 

First I'd like to say that I've been trying to massage the scartissue and after just a few weeks I've improved roughly 8 degrees on the curvature! Penis will be sore for a few days after but it seems to be worth it. I've skipped traction for now as I'm affraid to get another Peyronie's attack.

First appointment with a doctor at the hospital wasn't that great. I came into his office and he just asked me if I could have sex and I said no and his reply was simply; So let's operate! and my reply was How about no! He was quite surprised and asked me why I wouldn't have it fixed and I said that it was the absolute last thing I would do as surgery isn't something you just do (I am a master of science in health science and my girlfriend is a surgeon so I'm not just debating whatever I found on some website ).

Anyway! He reluctantly sent me to a doctor who has done several Xiaflex trials and I will be starting my trials soon. The doctor said it would be quite painful and that was why they would always suggest operation first but I once again stated that it seemed very drastical to start of with surgery when other options are available. Actually looking forward to having the injections which I find strange as I know it'll hurt a lot but I'd rather try Xiaflex before surgery!
