I recently started dating a great guy with Peyronie's Disease. This is a relatively new diagnosis to him within the last 6 months.  He had a prostatectomy for cancer 5 years ago. He can get really hard and has the curvature.  Once that hard-on goes away he is never that firm again. Sometimes he can masturbate and cum..  Other times, not.
He is bothered very much by this and I understand.  We have found other ways to enjoy ourselves and I am wonderfully happy with him. What can I do to encourage him and do my best to keep him hard?  I have told him that it is one  part of who we are and he agrees.   We look at other options for satisfying me and I am happy with this.
I would like to know what else I can do for him?
What else is there for me to do?  What do you want to tell your woman that you can or can't?
I want to do whatever I can for him and we are very open and honest with each other...

Can you share with us what kind of treatments he is using and does he have a urologist that specializes in Peyronies?

He takes a small dose of Cialis every day.. It is expensive and insurance only allows so many a month.
His urologist isn't an expert but he likes him... I have mentioned he could find one who is... But I don't want to push him too much...
I am his first relationship since his diagnosis and we are working with each other on this...

I've sent you a msg with links throughout the forum. You should look at the one for Specialists. It us important that he see a urologist that specializes in Peyronies. He is not on treatment and needs to be. There is a lot more he can be doing.

Amazing that you are seeking help online instead of him. That's so comforting, and at the same time astonishes me because I try my best to overcome my Erectile Dysfunction problem (implant in the future) and I have been ''asexual for 2 years almost' after my penile fracture, let alone confessing this to a new partner, and she being the one ''helping me out ''!! That's very comforting!

As for his Erectile Dysfunction, there is lots he can do. Try upping his Cialis dosage to 5mg, or even mixing it up with on demand ones to increase efficacy  even though this is an ''underground technique. He can also try injections if he is comfortable with it,  which in a lot of cases give amazing erection stiffness if his Erectile Dysfunction is not too bad. He can use constriction rings along with a VED and the cialis as well!

There's several links I could share, but I am unsure you are interested. Also, do push him to address the situation because ''imho he should be doing everything he could to try and solve this'' and provide you with the best sex possible.

But the injections in many cases get worse or produce peyronies, at least doctors told me that..

We have used a cock ring with good success.
I am looking for help as I want to do all I can to help him. I don't want him to feel any less of a man because he is not that at all. Though he will apologize and I remind him he is a total package.
We are working through this and  I am looking for  support I can give him.
We take it slow and enjoy each other in many ways before intercourse.
I am the type who must research and find out all I can.
That is why I am looking for suggestions from those who also have this.

I had an Alprostadil (Caverject, et al.) injection once before receiving my last Xiaflex injection.  It works amazingly well.  It will raise the dead (wood).  What makes it great is that he doesn't have to get excited; it's on "autopilot."  Thus, he can put a little desensitizing cream on to keep himself from ejaculating and then be your loverman for a verrrrry long time. 

There's a suppository form (for his urethra) too that's safer but not as effective.  I'd go to a urologist and ask for a Rx for the suppository form first.  If it works, great.  If not, try the injectable version.

You can have good sex with a curved penis if it's not too curved and it doesn't buckle.  Buckling is really the big problem.  Also, try one of the Canadian or overseas pharm supply companies.  You can get Cialis at a fraction of the cost, maybe Alprostadil too!

Gringo yep I am dating an upward curved gent and our sex life is great...ok I do want it more than his unit can provide in # of sessions a night or week but we have ironed out the gaps with other things to please me.

For the rest of the guys and gals I encourage you to bring your significant other to at least one doctor appt.  Despite my guy being very open with me about it i learned so much from the specialist at the check-up appt.  I was direct about my sexual questions and neither the nurse nor the Dr flinched...they enjoyed my candor but my guy raised his eyebrows a few times.  I also got to witness an injection of which was old hat for him.    After the appt my guy said how glad he was that I went with to support him. It was a bonding experience for both of us.  The injections are no longer a mystery to me, he feels more comfortable knowing I am chill with all of it and that I support how and why he manages his condition.  I dont think I will go to subsequent visits unless I have a question that arises or he requests I be there.  I think my candid, fun personality.will help him be more relaxed on any additional appointments he goes to solo.

I really do hope gents on the forum will allow their significant other to attend an appt or to ask questions about their mate including being frank in asking about sex, procedure process, outcome possibilities and options if necessary.  Sometimes it is helpful to get an objective opinion.  Men please talk freely with your gal...honest communication is so important in a relationship.  Wishing everyone a happy holiday and New Year!
