CONCLUSION:
Stem cells have an established efficacy in preclinical studies and early clinical trials. Studies are currently being published demonstrating the safety of intrapenile injection of autologous bone marrow- and adipose tissue-derived stem cells.

Thanks for the link Arabia

A few points:
QuotePhase 1 clinical trials using stem cells have not reported any severe adverse events in animals.
QuoteHowever, these results cannot be extrapolated to draw any conclusions about efficacy in human patients.

The question:
Who, when, how someone will go forward?

Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Exactly. Even though it's far away , this is the most interesting thing to dig into further in my opinion.

I had cytokines treatment, with Dr. Kowalsky, which is not the same as stem cells. He is collaborating wth Dr. Lue in San Francisco to mix their expertise and use cytokines. As far as I know, they are abandoning stem cells as a possible treatment. Instead, they are looking for growth factors and cytokines.

It was very painful experience for me. In my case, my plaque did not go away (although nobody really knows if it is a plaque or what it is), because it is deep inside in the middle of the penis, at the base, where the penis joins the body, and they don't even know if it is a plaque or a penis structure or what it is. But it is there, still, after 2 injections directly into it.

I know of at least another member of this forum that had it with a lot of success. Also, I heard of many other successes (from the Dr. directly).

That is interesting that Dr. Kowlalsky is collaborating with Dr. Lue using cytokine therapy.

If you get a chance to speak with either of them again I'd ask whether they are using  polarized macrophages (M2) which are known to be anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic and secrete cytokines to tampen down TGF-B.

One injects the polarized macrophages (derived from autologous monocytes) into the injured area and the healthy tissue will attempt to regenerate itself.

I have never heard of this Krazylord, you had it done and no results?
Very interesting... I would like to hear about other guys getting it done. Injections are always painful from what I can tell : (

Jack1909

Krazylord can you tell us what those injections are supposed to do? Promoting some tissue regeneration or something like that?

krazylord

Jack,

Their goal is to eliminate ED and Peyronie's plaques by tissue regeneration. Both. And it seems that it is working relatively well. I had it done once in both chambers, and two inside the plaque.

My plaque did not go away. But after some time (many months) I was able to have sex again, with no problems. Although in my case my ED was probably more psychogenic.

Anybody who suffer from ED, should try this before going to implants, in my humble opinion.

Best.

Jack1909

Thank you,

So dr. Zahalsky was right to be interested in cytokines and growth factors as you told us Krazylord. I remember a post from you about this...

From Priapus in Greece:

INTRODUCTION:

Like other fibrotic diseases, the cause of Peyronie's disease (Peyronies Disease) is still obscure. Since there is now increasing evidence for the role of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) as potential treatment to fibrosis, it is crucial to determine their possible efficacy in the treatment of Peyronies Disease. Areas covered: In this review, the authors summarize the emerging data and published studies regarding the use of SCs for the treatment of Peyronies Disease. The authors provide particular focus on the three-first experimental studies for the use of SCs in rat models as well as the sole two studies undertaken in humans. Expert opinion: It seems evident in experimental settings that SCs in general (Adipose Derived SCs in particular) provide a feasible, safe and effective therapy for Peyronies Disease. The potential limits of the rat models used initially have been somewhat overcome with the inception of studies in men. However, further prospective studies are needed in humans to further elucidate the therapeutic potential of stem cell therapy in Peyronies Disease.

Hello,

has anyone lately had the three steps treatment that some stem cell clinics offer?

Step 1: shockwave
2: Stormal Vascular fraction, adult stem cellls derived from fat.
       3:Platelet Rich Plasma

Thanks for your response and/or thoughts

Jack1909

Hi, briefly..

- prp gives to many people no results at all or not lasting results

- shockwave is still on study phase and it's not clear yet how much it might help. Some say it can be harmful as well. I would still wait more insight into the subject before doing it

- reliable stem cells are still under development. Watch out for clinics that promise stem cells treatments..it's more than known that there are many frauds treatments sold as stem cells out there. They are crap prpmoted with no real study or evidence behind them.

I had shockwave therapy. Worked for me. 40% improvement in ED.

An example of a clinic that uses stem cells for penile issues:

Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

interesting, please keep us updated

Any updates on this? Is gainswave the same as shockwave theraphy? I'm wondering if this truly helps bloodflow and regenration of nerves/blood vessels. If it does even a little it's worth using it.

Question:  Dr Zahalsky stated that 7 of 10 plaques disappeared by the third month in his human trials, is this to say that the stem cell, Trimix or proflow concoction works similar when compared to Xiaflex?  I have yet to see any reports as to how these plaques would "disappear" and why?
I have an appointment in January with Dr Valenzuela (Zahalsky's  counterpart in NYC) with Stem Cell research.  I've done the Gainswave and Prp shots (waste of 6k) but I will try anything before surgery (of any kind).   Can anyone clarify any of this?

Zahalsky used either amniotic or embryonic cells in the study iirc. What he uses at his practice now I believe is amniotic "fluid" that does not contain live cells, but I would have to look again to be sure. Just ask and make sure they are using the exact same "live" substance they used in the study. If you are willing to do anything before surgery, consider following my progress with fasting. I'll have a report for you all in about 2 months.
Do your homework before attempting a prolonged fast. JS1991 Timeline - Peyronies Society Forums (updated)

Thank you!!   I will, and will be waiting.
Meanwhile I do have an appointment to see Dr.Valanseula this upcoming Friday.
He is considered a Peyronies expert according to the Peyronies advocates association and also has been linked to Dr Zahalsky.  🙏🏼  Hopefully I will have good news to report
