Looking for answers

Woke up earlier this week with a little bit of swelling and a small firm lump on the left side of my penis just under the tip.  The heavy swelling only lasted a day and now just small swelling and a very small thin hard line where the lump was accompanied by very minor tilt toward the left when flaccid.  When erect the lump is more defined but doesnt seem to effect size or shape.  Went to GP and he referred me to a urologist without even looking at it however I wont be able to see the urologist for a month. If it is peyronies, what should I be doing between now and the visit with the urologist? Also, I take vyvanse which effects the size and shape when it is in my system however this seems different.
