Wanted to share my experience. I've been reading this forum after already getting 4 V. Injections (I've also been on traction for 6 months + COQ10 and L-Arg). No change from anything after 6 months of treatment(s).

I see a lot of posts saying Verapamil is not a reliable treatment. I'm already set up for 2 more.  My questions are: Should I go through with the next two appointments/injections? Am I totally missing something that could make all the difference?

I'm 27, this came at me out of nowhere in March '16, i bend to the left halfway up around 45 degrees. There has been a ton of pain when erect for the past 6 months, so much that it wakes me up every morning.

I would continue with the course. Not everything works for everyone. What works for you may not work for somebody else and visa versa. I am about to start my third cycle of Xiaflex and after 4 cycles, depending on how much change there is, I might to a few cycles of Verapamil and back to Xiaflex. Somewhere on this forum I saw something where somebody had success with this method. Traction and VED are also something that you should be doing.

I agree with QuackAttack even I am far from being a fan of Verapamil as I read all the posts on this forum
You got 4 already, so go with the remaining 2

I agree with James and Quack Attack. The VI shots are not too painful and have helped a small portion of those that have gone through the injections. Take the last 2 and then reassess. I recently finished 6 rounds of VI without any noticeable improvement but may consider a few more. I also went for 4 rounds of xiaflex and reduced my left curve from 85 to 45 degrees, so that is a real option for you going forward. I also used traction for 15 months and many oral drugs...stay the course and keep swinging.
