Surgical option for indents/half of penis not inflating?
« on: December 19, 2016, 09:23:30 PM »

Hello, it's been almost four months since I had a penis injury and my peyronies began. I've seen two doctors and two urologists so far, had an ultrasound that didn't show any scar tissue, and was given these two answers: There is nothing that I can do for you and the other being a $75 verapamil prescription with vitamin E and come back in 9-12 months. I used verapamil cream for a month and since then my peyronies has gotten worse, which show just how helpful that has been. Now I'm waiting to see another "specialist" in a few weeks and I want to know if there are any surgical options that I can discuss with him about my situation.

My situation: The scar tissue is on the right side of my penis, right under the glans on which I believe to be the right corpus cavernosum. Started with a indent at the point of the scar and minor shrinkage. Then, the entire right side of my penis progressively shrank to match the indented space. Now, the right half of my penis which I believe is the right corpus cavernosum is completely deflated and unable to get hard. It creates a loose "hinge" effect which makes the right side floppy and "dangle" while the left side works twice as hard to hold up my penis. The left side struggles to keep my erection if I masturbate. Penetration was not possible because my erection died out without constant stimulation of the left side of my penis by hand. Essentially I only have 2/3rd of my penis intact, the right side feels almost completely flat other than protruding veins. It is more obvious during the erection process because I'll be semi-erect in the left half and the right half is still limp.
It is so distressing watching your penis shrivel up and die as time passes while doctors are clueless/do not care and you can't tell the people who you love because of how personal/embarrassing this is. I want it to stop and I want to carry on with my life. I am looking into surgical options, and I'm not very knowledgable on what surgeries work for my situation and what people's experiences were. Thanks

Coral33, first, do not panic. You will be fine. This is something we can recover from. I have not recovered yet myself after a year an a half, but I am still fighting. And I will *never* lose hope.

I also had tests and they found no scars and nothing, however I clearly have the second part of my penis, right below the glans fibrosis. I used one of those penis extenders with two hooks. I did tighten them up to the penis to tight and too strong for a week, that somehow now that same area doesn't inflate while semi-rigid, so the penis look like a balloon. Only when I am erect, it goes all away, to an extend.

The fibrosis might be in the spongosium inside the cavernosium, or in the veins. It doesn't really matter. What you need to understand is that whether is scar tissue or fibrossis or however they wanna call it, once it is scar, you need to regain elasticity. ANd the only way to regain elasticity is to stretch it (vacuum, stretching, etc).

My recommendation is trying any non-invasive treatments before going into surgery. Get into pentox and traction (or VED) as soon as possible.

If I were you, I would get an Skype apppointment with Dr. Kuehhas. He will see your penis using the camera (or you can send him pictures on the fly) and he will tell you what to do. The reason I say this is because this is exactly what I did, but there are many guys here that can share their own experience and help you.

Don't give up my friend.
