Hello everyone! I'm new to the group having been diagnosed with Peyronies Disease three weeks ago. My problem is an hourglass / hinged ventral curve about an inch and a half from the base. My erect penis bends downward like a door. It is sad to see, especially when it's mine!  On the plus side, so far at least, there are no ED issues. I'm taking l-arginine, CoQ10 and 2.5 mg cialis daily.  My question is about VED pumps. I understand the protocols but what do you do if you have an erection while using the pump?  If one is capable of staying hard for 15-20 minutes, is that the same as using the pump?  Or is the benefit of the pump going from flaccid to rigid and back again?  The VED protocols say to go from flaccid to 20%, 30% or 50% rigid for 15-30-60 secs etc.  Having an erection makes that difficult.  Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.  Thanks guys and I am very pleased that this forum exists!

Always be careful with a VED. You're inducing an artificial erection. Never overpump, and if you feel anything unusual or any pain above a mild discomfort, release pressure immediately.

Re using it with an existing erection. I personally wouldn't recommend it in case you're tempted to overpump when it appears that your penis isn't expanding.

With Peyronies the aim is to firstly introduce a consistently fresh flow of oxygen rich blood into the penis. Secondly, it can help with hourglassing or indentations caused my Peyronies plaque.

Anything you're not sure on send a PM to Old Man, he's our VED guru.
