Hi All,

Thanks in advance for reading my post.

I think I am at the very, very beginning stages of this disease. I'm 31.

It isn't diagnosed yet, but my erect penis has an indentation on the left side, and it seems like a bit on the right side as well. I'm not sure if I can feel any plaque or scar tissue on the flaccid penis, but after five days of trying to find some, i'm not sure if what i'm feeling is inflamed tissue or plaque. I need to leave it alone but I keep checking. There is no pain. I feel like I noticed some tiny changes several weeks ago, but this week is when I saw this indentation and slight bend (maybe 10degrees?) and it led me here. It looks like the beginning of the hourglass effect.  I had intercourse with a girl who had an extremely tight/shallow vagina a few weeks ago and when she was on top I didn't even think that it was a bad idea, but I think it was. I had a hunch that I wasn't even inside her - I think it's a larger problem than she was willing to admit and she pretended it was in, instead basically rocking against me.

I have an appointment with a urologist here in Denver in a month, and am on the waiting list for an earlier appointment. As you can imagine, in the interim, i'm going crazy.

All of this said, I would love recommendations about what any of you more experienced sufferers would do if you were in my shoes right now. I have purchased:
Vitamin E
CoQ10
Gotu Kola
Acetyl L-Carnitine
L-arginine
^I'm not sure of the dosages on each of these

Castor oil, cold-pressed (I have no idea what to do with this!)

I am juicing now twice per day with fruits and vegetables, and meditating, and I eat 95% vegan. I exercise regularly.

I'll be honest, I'm having difficulty sleeping and functioning normally. I want so much to be proactive with this, but feel helpless or that I am grasping at straws with just flushing down these over the counter supplements. Additionally, I'm sure the stress isn't helping at all. I have panic disorder but i fight that tooth and nail too with meditation and other means!!!

So, any direction is much appreciated.

Thanks everyone and I want to say as a newbie, my heart goes out to all of you and I hope very much that the psychological impact of this disease is manageable for each of you. I now have a taste of what it entails and am floored that a greater public gov't effort to push research on this does not exist.

Welcome to the boards!

It can be exhausting to wonder if it's coming or going, if it's okay or not, but at the end of the day all we can do is attack. Just keep on the process of improving your penile health, symptoms, and mental state, and that's all there is.

Make an appointment with a specialist for sure. As for the supplements, they look good. The dosages are 400mg for CoQ10, probably 1 - 2 grams of Arginine, and 2 grams of ALCAR. I highly recommend traction at this point, either by hand or by device. Be careful and stay positive.

All that stuff is a waste of time IMHO.  Get it in a VED ASAP. Unless your body is deficient of those vitamins and so forth they will not benefit you.

If you pulled your ACL would you take vitamins and "leave it alone" or would you get it into physical therapy as soon as possible?
