Hi, I have been doing nothing but research for about 4 1/2 months (since symptoms started). The last 3 months or so i have researched Peyronies Disease and possible treatments. I take different meds and do a whole list of things. The last time I injured myself was a couple months ago. I injured myself in the same area before a few times before I knew what was happening. I have a band of scar tissue that pretty much wraps around the whole left side. The wound seems pretty deep. Most times it hurts when I ejaculate and causes inflammation. It seems to be getting better as time goes by and I am trying to keep a positive attitude. My erect penis is straight with a little twist when rock hard. After ejaculation, the blood drains quicker out of the left chamber causing a curve while partially erect. I recently purchased some aloe vera and DMSO to add to the castor oil I have been applying at night. Aloe relieves inflammation and increases the amount of collagen cross linking providing a more durable scar. It also increases collagen content. But isn't the idea to soften the scar?

After all of the research I have done, one big question remains....well, I guess a few:

When the scar tissue is dissolved, what is it replaced with? New fresh tissue?
Is there any research that suggests that this is what happens?
Do we want to reduce or increase collagen? Maybe increase while the wound is healing?
I am applying castor oil to soften and dissolve the scar tissue. Am I doing this too soon? Is my wound not completely healed since I still have inflammation? And why do they say to put aloe vera juice on it if that just strengthens the scar? Aren't we trying to dissolve it?
From my understanding, the whole acute phase is healing the wound. In my personal opinion (thus far into the research) it is wise to let the pain subside before starting traction or VED

These are all grey areas. I would appreciate any input and help :)

Hi Jim,
It sounds as if there are multiple issues. The prostate is responsible for producing the milky substance for ejaculation. If this is painful, then it might be prostatitis. Any time you see, itis, it means inflammation. Castor oil can be anti-inflammatory, however, it would be difficult to get it on the prostate. There are a few oral herbal anti-inflammatories that work quite well. One is Boswellia or the extract. The extract is more concentrated with the resin, but lacks the synergistics of the herb to let it work comprehensively. I have used both, and not noticed any difference. Usually the extract will also have some other type of anti-inflammatory herb or substance to help make it more comprehensive.
There are also spices that work quite well as anti-inflammatories. Ginger, Curcumin or Turmeric, and tart cherries.
Try to avoid gluten's, which are highly inflammatory, and found in certain grains, such as wheat and barley.
It sounds as if there is contraction of the blood vessel, the one that is slow to drain, which may be also caused by plaque either in the vessel or surrounding it, causing it to squeeze the vessel.
You are probably doing good with the DMSO, aloe vera and castor oil. Be careful with doing this though, make sure DMSO and aloe vera and castor oil are PURE, with no synthetics added. Make sure your hands are CLEAN, because DMSO will absorb anything into your body. You can make a pack with the ingredients. Use a clean 100% cotton pad, add very warm, not hot, DMSO, castor oil and aloe vera to the pad, and wrap it around the affected areas. You can use a heat pad also, to help keep it warm. The longer you can keep it on the better. You can loosely tie a plastic bag around it to keep from staining other areas.
On my forum, I mentioned I used a Sonic, not electric, tooth brush- flat side, not brush side, to massage the plaque and scar tissue, and saw almost immediate results.
Plaque/scar tissue will cause the tissues to bind or draw together, which then causes the penis to go more erect or bend abnormally. Once this plaque and/or scar tissue is dissolved or broken up, which I believe the Sonic vibrations allow to happen, the penis will go back to normal.
Let me know how this works out for you.

Thanks alot for your reply! Yes, I have read about your toothbrush technique. That is very interesting. I may try that sometime. I have been pretty reluctant to try anything until the inflammation stops. It is slowly going away. I haven't had much pain in the last week and almost feels normal. I didn't ever use the DMSO either. I found out that applying penetrating creams to the wound only agrivates it and causes more inflammation and more damage. I think that should be pasted smack dab at the top of this website. Such as this: "LET YOURSELF HEAL FIRST". I did alot of reading on this forum and never really learned that. I had to learn for myself which kinda sucks after all the research that I did on this. I think it is healed up enough now to try a new cream I have ordered. It's called SR-CREAM. It is designed to remove scar tissue and grow new tissue. I accidentally ordered the old version which is made up of mostly Q10 and the people that run the site are very cooperative. They sent me a refund for the old version, let me keep it and I just put in a new order for the new version which is supposed to be so much more efficient. I have had alot of dark days but now after 6 1/2 months, I am feeling pretty good about it. Doesn't bother me that much. I have some hour glassing at partially erect and still some post ejaculation curve and drainage from the left side but I think it is improving and will continue to improve. Most importantly the pain is going away. I accomplished this just by LEAVING IT ALONE! I try to only masturbate once per week until I am all healed up for sure. Well, I do take a long list of supplements along with Pentox. Fish oil(PGE3) and borage oil(PGE1) are key for inflammation. Borage or evening primrose lowers the bad pro inflammatory prostagalndin E2. When adding anthocyanins to the mix, it really helps! I also take other anti inflammatory stuff. I take stuff to boost nitric oxide such as l-arginine and pine bark. This is the track I have came to learn after my research and it all aligns with this SR-CREAM. You guys should maybe try it. Here is a link if it is permitted. I am not a salesman, just another guy that had an injury.

Read the reviews too. It has some good ones. I thought this was going to be a scam since it is from another country but it is actually legit. Fast shipping and I have had a good experience so far.

Mods, I would like to maybe move the above post to an alternative treatment topic so the guys can read about it and try it out if they would like. It is your call though. Do what you think is appropriate. Thanks.

Ok. I see that the links are deleted. Just google SR-CREAM and see what you think. There is a video on it. I searched this site and it has never been mentioned here before.

Tried to find a Sonic toothbrush and I found just electric :(
It also written:
QuotePhilips Sonicare is the only electric toothbrush with sonic sweeping motion for an exceptional fresh and clean feeling.
Can you mention the brand and how it works? It is a mechanical or pneumatic device?

I am pretty sure he got it from Aldi grocery store if I remember right and it was called the sonic toothbrush. Correct me if I am wrong NoGmos.

Not everyone have access to Aldi grocery so I found one as I mentioned by the internet.
It is in the range of $125+
And how it works? It is pneumatic, or maybe some mechanical gearbox to turn it?
The one I see is working on batteries, maybe the mechanical is cheaper?

See if you can get a Sonic type on EBAY. They are much cheaper. The one I got from Aldi's cost about US$20, and there are some on Ebay around that price or a bit more. The one I used had 22000 vibrations per minute, so I would try to find one at least that fast. I don't know how they operate mechanically, but mine was battery operated. Someone else tried it, and said it did not work for them. I did catch my Peronie's early so not sure if that was the case or if it was a particular way I did the treatment. I just don't want to see you waste $125 if it doesn't work for you either. Best wishes.

So I am kindly asking again:
If not electric, how it operates? It is mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, atomic, quantum operated?

Hope you can give an answer, I am very interested to know the principle of operation of this brush.

James,

I think he means an electric toothbrush that is rotating/operating its bristles in the sonic range, as opposed to an ordinary electric toothbrush where the bristles move up and down at a much slower speed.  I use as sonic toothbrush (for brushing my teeth) that is battery operated.

The operating principle of the sonic toothbrush is the vibrations (sound waves) it generates are in ultrasonic range which helps to break down plaque on the teeth which in turn helps reduce gum disease.

Here is link to a website that compares regular, electric and electric sonic brushes

Thank you for the answer
Because of NoGmos statement that is not electric, I was thinking is something else
