I was diagnosed with Peyronies today. I first noticed a banana-like upward curvature a couple of months ago and was quickly aware of Peyronies through online research. It's been a great relief to find this forum. So, I am 52, very fit and healthy. I am married. I thought the only symptom that was presenting was the upward curvature of around 30 degrees towards the end of the penis. But the urologist immediately located plaque at the very base (almost inside) and with a pincer movement of his fingers located quite an area of hard plaque. I'm not exactly sure how plaque located there can lead to curvature which seems to start about an inch or more back from the glans. From all the information I have garnered from this forum I am going for Pentox (which I have bought online) + VED 3 to 4 times per week + Ubiquinol and maybe Viagra (although people seem to favour Cialis and I'm unsure why) as my initial self treatment and have a follow up with the urologist in 3 months. He also said Pentox is old fashioned and Xiaflex is the only approved treatment these days. He also said you only have mild Peyronies and don't stress about this. Easier said than done. I'm praying that as it only presented a couple of months ago I may have some success with my treatment.
