After reading alot on this forum since last 3 months I finally got the courage to register myself.
I m suffering from 3 months and yet to get a formal diagnosis. I have went to see 5 to 6 urologists and except one all dismissed my concerns (pain in flaccid and during erection..nt mild pain debiliting pain and starting bend towards left just near glans). I m fed up of unsympotatatic behaviour of doctors. May be the region from where I am there is no peyronie disease specialist. The one urologist who said I have minor fibrosis also didnt offer treatmen saying there are none except surgery and u r not a candidate for it yet.
I am 24 years of age single and most importantly virgin.. this condition effects me phychologically I m suffering from severe depression and feelings like my sex life has ended before it started.

Ps. My symptoms are very confusing..I also got pain and aching in groin while erection..also pain is more worse in flaccid than in erection. One urologist said I have cpps..again another uncurable condtion.:(

I request all of respected members of this forum to help me how to fight this condition when all I am getting from urologists is either I dont have peyronie or if I have there is mothing to be done

I This forum is my last hope as urologists in my coutry are not helping me.

Welcome to the forums! Even in countries with good urologists, sometimes there isn't exactly much to be done. If you have a slight curve I recommend looking into traction. You could also try the oral supplements or drugs popular on these forums. You may be able to get cialis and pentox in your country, and if you choose to go the supplement route, there are a variety of cheap options that may improve penile health. Personally traction and total abstinence for several weeks repeatedly helped me. VED therapy also helps a lot of men. Research both physical therapies and be careful with them. If it weren't for traction my case would be horrendous.

The psychological aspect is a massive battle and requires very strategic action and thought. It is winnable, but may not seem that way. You can find a way out of depression but give yourself downtime as well. 24 is so young that I'm certain you will find a way to get through this. I also have chronic pelvic pain which can drive me crazy.

Neov.. thanks a lot for your kind words. Your respose on almost every post is very positive and encourging.
My curve is towrds the left and its like glans is twisting to the left.i believe scar tissue is somewhere on circumcision scar and it is getting worse with each passing day. I am already taking l arginine and other multivitamins. I have a penile doppler scheduled and this new urologist I went to see yesterday told me that he wil recommend treatment based on the results of ultrasound. And treatment he said might be injections. Should I talk to him about traction thetrapy? Or should I try to do it on my own.?

Hey again. Traction will likely be something you have to do yourself, but I would bring it up with your urologist. Don't commit to injections unless you are sure it's what you want to pursue. Some injections have helped some men, but the results are very inconstant while some injections seem nearly useless or no different than water injections. Levine is famous for using verapamil injections, or at least for using them, and always combined with traction. Even Xiaflex is always paired with "modeling" which is nothing more than traction by hand. I'm not convinced that any injections are worth it, but I am not against the idea that they may help.

Peyronie's is sadly something you must treat alone. If your case is very bad, this will not be the case, and you may need surgery or something like Xiaflex (maybe), or even in implant (last resort). Surgery and invasive procedures should be LAST RESORT, as you can probably tell by reading around these forums.

So yes, do traction on your own after reading about it and use it with great care. Same goes for VED.

Thanks again for such a detailed answer. I really hate the idea of surgey at such young age. At present I am in acute phase having atmost 20 degree curvature. (Not sure) but one thing is sure that it is progressing plus pain in flaccid is worst with each day.tried ibrofun.. didnt help much. Can you please tell me are there any pros of having peyronies at young age as compared with in 4 5 decade of life. Im asking about the possibilty of getting better. Is it more in young people or other way around?
Also I read somewhere that peyronies is more aggresive in young people. Does that mean it will cause more disability as well?

I really don't think there is any study or proof that shows age has anything to do with it. Our penis and sex is just as important to older guys as it is younger guys. So far from what you describe your curvature is mild but I understand your concern. I think what you are struggling with for now is the pain.

I don't know if Pentox (Trental) is available to you or if your doctor will write you a prescription for this. But several claim that it helps with the pain.
