Hello all...I am 75 years old and got Peyronies when I was 57.  Have had it 18 years and there probably is nothing that I have not tried to cure it.  While I have been very successful in most avenues, the bend keeps coming back and I have to work to keep my penis active and useful.  I started with a 90 percent bend mid shaft and a 45 percent bend at the end behind the glans.  Mine was caused from a rough urologist who was going after kidney stones.  Happened next morning after Dr. Visit.  Had the "shell" like plaque and worked that  out and over the years have done jelqs, pumping, hanging and every other thing that I thought would work.  Didn't tell my wife about this for two years, that was a mistake.  I was ashamed of the "freak" I thought I had become.  Pain went away, and gradually have seen the curvature decrease.  But, if I don't keep after it all the time, with exercises, then the scar seems to "toughen" up and curve becomes severe again.

I was searching for information about ultrasound to see if there is any thoughts that US might soften the scar and relax the tissue.  I do have the "hour-glass" syndrome and it shows only from the top when erect.  I have no problems with erection and performance, just having to keep working to keep from getting bent again because the scar that is mid shaft gets hard when erect.  If I leave it alone, it will go back to a 90 degree bend erect, if I work it and stretch it, less than 45.  Upward curve.

Any advice on US?  I read another post someplace where they said you need about 3 mhz US and not really high intense as in physical therapy.  Most of the US machines I see are 1 mHZ which seem to be for skin issues.

Some have tried ultrasound, but no real positive results. Have you tried VED therapy?

Have two reasons why you are not getting answers to your post.
* First what LWillisjr wrote in the post bellow me.
* Second, you can see in the link bellow that not too many active members are doing something with ultrasound:
Ultrasound and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) - PDS - Peyronies Society Forums
Proposing you to read the topics on the board above, you may find everything we know about ultrasound therapy.
I was trying to eliminate the hourglass and the plaque with VED, Pentox and low dose Cialis. As you don't have ED problems, low dose Cialis can be 2.5 mg per day.
Regarding VED, we have a board on the subject, be careful if you will use it, you may send PM to Old Man, he is our guru in the subject.
