Combination Therapies
« on: February 06, 2016, 05:41:19 PM »

I am a fit very well nourished non-smoking 68 year old, who has enjoyed a very healthy intimate love life with my wife for over 40 years. I have recently been diagnosed to be in the acute phase of Peyronies. In two months I have lost an inch in length and have developed a curvature approaching 85 degrees.

The NHS Urologist has offered to discuss Nebit surgery with me once I am in the acute phase (I am so grateful!), but I intend to do everything that I can, while I remain acute, to avoid surgery. And if it comes to that, I will pay for Egydio.

I have read everything that I have found on the internet. I found John Parks's website and read the free book he wrote, describing the three step process which he claims cured his Peyronies. At the end of the book there is an addendum referring to..... which provides a very similar integrated European solution to the one that he offers in his book. Does any member have experience or feedback on either the book or the integrated solution?

Ben;
As James has alluded to, Parks is a snake oil salesman. He claims to have had Peyronies and cured himself. He now sells worthless "cures" to other suffererers. If the man ever had the disease, then he's a disgrace.

Re surgery, you're quite right. Nesbitt is surgery from the dark ages, avoid. If you do require surgery, and an 85 degree curve is pretty bad, I can recommend Dr Kuehhas at London Andrology. He did my surgery. I'm still recovering - well healing really, but my penis is straight again from a curvature very similar to yours.

Ben Twilly

I just want o add one thing to my previous post:
Start VED, Pentox and low dose Cialis.
You are in the acute stage, good chance the treatment above will stop the progression and even reverse the symptoms.

Thank you, James. '47 was a good year. I have read the 17 posts, but am no clearer whether traction has a place or not. What do you know about the efficacy of Castor Oil rubbed into the plaques? I read one site, where the wife claimed that her husband's Peyronie's was cured using this approach. I just wish the Ozzie who posted 'success' would get back and tell us what he did.

One last question - is there any evidence that homeopathic remedies can help?

Ben,
Joninspain is correct John Park is a snake oil sales man. John Park absolutely had Peyronies, but his methodology did not rid him of Peyronies. I saw John on a Xialex commercial on YouTube. Go with things that are clinically effective, traction/VED, Pentox or Xiaflex.

No.
And not much evidence for other treatments also.
You may find some evidences regarding treatments in the library.
As this forum have no any commercial orientation and is not promoting any doctors/medications manufacturers is a good source for information what other members have done to treat they Peyronies.

It has been two years since I first posted. After my last post, I found ....................... website and, after a lengthy dialogue with .................., I ordered his full package, which includes a 3 MHz ultrasound device, and began to follow his programme. It was not cheap, and the cost of importing the Neprinol from the US breath-taking, but I persevered with his comprehensive programme and was heartened by his support.

I experimented with the supplementation regime for nearly a year and found that I had the best results by gradually increasing to 18 Neprinol a day for the last month and using the DMSO, the copper fluid and the vitamin E oil topically once a day. I would wait until the discolouration of the DMSO caused by the introduction of the copper fluid had cleared and then used the remaining DMSO and Vit E oil as the conducting lubrication for the full 10 minute Ultrasound treatment, while gently stretching the shaft directly away from my body.

I completely cleared a 1" x 1/2" scar across the dorsal base of the shaft and reduced the 85 degree bend to about 12 Degrees, recovering to almost my original length and thickness. The residual curvature appears to result from permanent scarring to the neurovascular bundle, which can be felt as a thin string along the dorsal surface of the shaft.

I have had no recurrence now for  nearly 9 months. I am not suggesting that this would work for anybody else, but I offer it as perhaps a ray of hope to those still suffering. It took a little time for the skin to accept the daily DMSO and it I believe that it can be quite aggressive on some skins. I am blessed with a robust digestion, so I was able to increase my Neprinol intake up to 18 per day, but I would caution anyone else trying my approach to build the dosage slowly.

I wish all subscribers the best for the future and sign off now.

Regards,

Ben

@Ben Twilly: can you be more detailed on your routine? Like, how do spread the neprinol out during your day. What %age DMSO do you apply? Do you do it under the shower? For how long? How many MHz does your ultrasound device have? Which vitamin E oil do you use? Are you not afraid of DMSO getting in touch with the ultrasound wand? Do you have any pointers/links to Dr. Herazy's program?

The only posts from you that I can see are from a year ago. Maybe you had another username before? So, you started this regimen one year into your condition and it was effective within a year from starting? Have you been doing anything else, like taking pentox for example?

thank you!

Ben, this sounds like very remarkable but surprising results from the interventions you describe.  Would you be willing to share before and after pics?

ben twilly , Congratulations are in order for you! I was considering the 3MHz ultrasound and Dr. Thacker's formula DMSO /tea extract/castor oil,  as a treatment regimen to follow .My ultrasound unit doesn't give me any sensation that it's working, could you feel a sensation when you applied it?

Uhm... New member, single topic. The Peyronies Disease Institute website has a lot of frustrating circular references. It even promotes Scar-X which apparently is an homeopathic treatment. I am ready to bet this entire thread is them spamming us.

The clue is in the website address (.COM) therefore the site, like 99% sites is 'commercial', so it is to make money as a priority, simple. Take anything read on such sites with caution.
