Dr Mark Morunga

Hi my name is Mark Morunga Im a Physician in Auckland, New Zealand. Ive developed an interest in Peyronies and have been doing treatments involving PRP platelet rich plasma which has shown some promising results. I'd urge all Peyronies members to independently review the scientific literature on this. Regards Mark

Happy to see an other doctor around here, hope for longer time than others.
Many forum members tried PRP, some with good results, some like me with ZERO results.
In any case, I am proposing you to read:
Developmental Drugs & Treatments - PDS - Peyronies Society Forums
You will find there all the information regarding the forum experience with PRP

Welcome to the forum

PS: I hope some moderator will move your post to the above link also, as here the topics have a limit of 10 posts and will disappear during time. You can see we have 44 pages on the "Introductory" board

Dr. Morunga, welcome.

I appreciate your suggestion that Peyronies Disease sufferers review the scientific literature on PRP, but what we need to see is verifiable accounts of PRP actually bettering someone's Peyronie's condition (i.e., reducing scar tissue (plaque), deformity, etc.) Thus far, even Dr. Runnels who "invented" the so-called "Priapus" shot technique has talked a lot about why PRP "should work" for Peyronie's but has been unable to produce a single verifiable case of it working.

If you can produce such accounts of improvement (particularly with photographic evidence) it would be far more helpful than referring us to scientific literature.

51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.
