It seems like VED therapy seems to be the best for hourglass deformity, correct?

Hey guys,

So my injury occurred about 14 months ago... of all things to be injured, mine was by jeans that didn't fit me... yes you read that correctly. I know it sounds COMPLETELY ridiculous, but that's exactly what happened.

I have a very sedentary job sitting by a computer all day, and I had recently purchased some new jeans... I'm built like a pyramid and have extremely thick legs with a smaller waist, so almost any jeans that aren't super baggy fit me odd, especially in the crotch region. Anyway, I was particularly busy that day, and I didn't get up from my desk for almost 5 hours... I didn't notice any pain throughout my sitting, just that my jeans were extremely uncomfortable. When I finally got up, I noticed that my penis felt incredibly numb, like circulation had been cut off. I was really alarmed by this... then when I got home and went to lay in my bed, I noticed that the left side of my penis started to have a strange aching pain.

When I awoke the next morning, the area that had pain was now a small lump... and the pain continued... and it simply wouldn't heal. I went to the urologist after about 3 months, and he simply said, "If you can still get it up, you're fine... just take some vitamin e. Great advice doc, thanks for nothing.

Anyway, fast forward to 14 months later, that area of pain is now a little chord of scar tissue probably about 1 cm long. It is pretty difficult to feel when flaccid. It gives me an hourglass deformity, and when erect, it manifests as a small dent. It still hurts at times, and the biggest issue is that it feels like my penis has a huge bloodflow problem... it is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. My penis seems like it is constantly in state of shock and is always shriveled and often feels cold like it just isn't getting the right amount of blood.

Luckily, my erect size hasn't changed drastically, but I have noticed a small decrease. But more importantly it's just the odd feeling of my penis almost feeling like a foreign object on my body.

From what I can tell, the scar isn't that big, but is it possible that is just happens to be in the right place to affect bloodflow, or maybe pressing on a nerve? I got ahold of some cialis and pentox, but neither seem to help me that much. I've also noticed I'm not getting "morning wood" that often anymore. The most pentox I've taken is 3 400 mg in a day... but I haven't' been consistent with it. With the cialis however, I'm pretty good with taking it about every other day.

From what I've read on the forums, it seems that VED therapy seems to have a good track record of helping with hourglass deformity. I know every case is different, but this just seems to be really affecting me, so I'd like to have some hope I can at least improve a bit. The next step is to go to another and more informed urologist to get an ultrasound and see exactly what we are dealing with. But I'm just trying to get a game plan going here in the meantime.

One other hypothesis I have... like a person sitting on an airplane for a long time, the lack of movement and compression of the jeans in my crotch area created a small bloodclot, and that bloodclot has been replaced by scar tissue.

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the book I just wrote. Thanks for reading.

Sorry to hear that maxster. Is the hourglass visible in semi-rigid? Is it only then in one side, or do you see the hinge in both?

An ultrasound would tell you if it is peyronie plaque. But sometimes ultrasound does not show anything, and still you can feel it with at the touch or you can see a visible change like the hourglass.

Whether or not it can be seen with the ultrasound, you already did the right thing, which is get started in dialy cialis and pentox. Don't stop taking them would be my advice, and start searching the forum for some supplements like magnesium, etc. There are studies commented on the forum on the usage of supplements for fibrosis, so make sure you read that up.

I have not started VED yet, and I do also have an hourglass and the first half of the shaft getting engorged a lot more than the end part, making it look weird in flaccid and semi-rigid. But from what I have read so far, VED can help on the hourglass and different deformities since VED can help with fibrosis, and fibrosis might be the cause of those deformities.

Since in your case sounds quite clear what is the problem, you already did the right thing. VED might help as well, but I would wait to hear from people like James or Old Man that have experienced a cure to their hourglasses with VED, pentox and dialy cialis.

Peace.

maxster,
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear your story. I just want to comment that I don't think I buy into your hypothesis. Blood needs to be exposed to air to clot that quickly. And internally for something like arterial plaque to form would take months to or years to form. I am not discrediting your symptoms, just the hypothesis.

I would suggest the possibility of having hard flaccid and  check a sort of CPPS treatment approach as an option. Hope you find it useful. All the best.
