Hey all,
Wanted to start by saying it's awesome that a forum like this exists and it's great to see people with experience with this helping others. I'm a 29 year old guy and 2 weeks ago I noticed a small lump on the left side off my penis just below the head. I was a bit worried. Obviously, and I think most men would agree, anything new to this area to the body is alarming. A few days later I noticed 2 other lumps on the top and the bottom of my penis, again just below the head. I web MD my symptoms and Peyronie's came up, but I didn't read too much into and scheduled an appointment with a urologist. The urologist quickly diagnosed me with Peyronie's. He stated there were no medications proven to help treat Peyronie's and because I had no pain or curvature to just wait and see. I'm not very happy with this treatment. I'm asking those with experience for advice. I've read that almost everyone with Peyronie's has a different experience, but I'm asking to see if any others have had a similar experience such as my own and if there is anything I can do to get on top of this before my condition gets any worse. I appreciate any suggestions and although this sucks, it is comforting this page exists for those who have gone through this, to help others. Thanks to all!

FF,

The first thing I would do is find a specialist in Peyronies in your area. Don't settle for a lets wait and see approach. You have to remember that you are the manager of your body, not the doctor and the doctor works for you and you want somebody that is willing to work with you for a mutually agreeable treatment. Do some research on traction, supplements like magnesium etc.

Thanks for the response. I'll be contacting an another Doc today to try to jump start some treatment. Has anyone seen any cases out there where plaque is the only symptom. Or have most people experience that with plaque, curvature/hour glassing most likely will follow. Just curious because with a lot of cases I've read, some will wake up with just a curve.
Just from browsing, a lot of people have suggested Pentox and VED's. Can anyone answer with any success to these? And has anyone read whether nicotine use has an even more negative effect to this? Thanks again Quack Attack for your quick response.

There are no fixed set of symptoms for this affliction. Every case is different. I suppose the classic onset symptoms would be, pain when getting an erection, the pain frequently disappears after a while. That's when classically  the curvature will begin and plaque will become evident to the touch.

Smoking constricts blood vessels all over the body, so it may have an adverse effect on blood flow to the penis, depending on your age, physical condition, and how many you smoke.,
