I've had Peyronies Disease for about 2yrs and have had 6 rounds of Xiaflex. After reading many of the posts on this forum I recently purchased a 3 cylinder Soma device. I still have a severe indentation and narrowing on the side of my penis right above my circumcision scar. I also still have a 15degree upward bend at the same spot. These are the topics I would like some input on from VED users.

1) I currently engorge my flaccid penis for 1 min and then let it rest for 30 seconds before beginning again. I feel like this allows time for the penis to fully engorge. I read the protocol set out by others that call for 10 seconds. Id like to hear what is successful for others.

2) I believe I've read that a few people use their VED more than once a day following the 10 sec protocol. I'd appreciate any input from someone that uses this method. Perhaps they complete a 10 second session in the morning and one at night.

3) As mentioned previously I use my device flaccid. Does anyone use theirs with a full erection? I've read that using devices to promote penile growth advise a full erection. Would this help with my indentation for some physiological reason? Any input would be great.

4) I seem to be climax during intercourse much sooner since using my VED. Has anyone else encountered this issue or am I going mad? It's almost seems like there's more pressure built up. It's difficult to explain. Any input would be grand.

I'm 41 and things have improved since the onslaught of Peyronies Disease with the help of xiaflex and lifestyle changes. I really like using the VED and feel like my erection is very healthy. While I never had an erection issue when aroused by my spouse, I could tell that I wasn't having spontaneous erections anymore. I've pretty much quit masturbating and have been getting a goods night sleep. Currently since using VED I have both spontaneous erections throughout the day along with a good morning erection.
Any input or questions would be great.

The main thing when using VED therapy is caution! Never over pump! If you feel any pain or discomfort release the pressure immediately.

The idea of pumping continuously in 10-15 sec bursts is to provide a constant supply of fresh, oxygen rich blood to the penis. Yes, you can hold for longer if attempting to stretch the plaque and tissue surrounding it, one minute being the maximum.

I'm not using mine at the moment as I'm recovering from surgery, but I had built up to 3 x 20 minute sessions daily without any adverse effects. Just don't get over enthusiastic or you can do yourself a serious injury.

Hi Turin,

I can't say anything since I have never done it. I do have a Peyronie's plaque at the middle of the base, right in the septum, and since then my penis curves to the left both in flaccid and semi-rigid, but not when fully erect. I actually posted in a different thread to see if it makes sense to me to use it.

I do have some hourglassing that I believe is the reason for my penis to look more engorged at the base up to the hourglass than the rest of the penis, but there is no plaque there whatsoever. So I guess I am confused as to whether one should use VED therapy just for confirmed Peyronie's plaques, or also for any kind of penis deformation, like an hourglass, even though you do not feel any plaque at all or even though when fully erect it goes away.

I am glad your Xiaflex improved your condition. I am also interested to know the answers to your points, so hopefully somebody can respond :)

I'd also be very keen to see Turin099's questions answered. I started using a VED for my corporal fibrosis just a month or so ago. I've struggled to follow the protocol - My ED is so severe, I'm so 'tight' down there, that I can't pump up unless I've given myself a pretty decent semi-erection already. After a couple of rounds of 10-15 sec, I've returned to flaccid and my penis won't engorge anymore. I find it more useful to pump, hold for 30-secs to a minute, release and take myself out of the pump, wait while and then begin again. I do this about 10 times in a session. I've seen benefits to my flaccid state, however my erection quality and ease of getting an erection has not improved. Recently, I've been concerned I've done myself some damage as my erection quality seems to have got a little worse.

I can answer to this:
QuoteWould this help with my indentation...
VED helped me to eliminate 3 hourglasses
Regarding 10 to 15 seconds vs 60 seconds, see Jonbinspain answer

VED treatment is a marathon, not a sprint. I would not expect fast results, even some members reported about fast results
Quote...release and take myself out of the pump...
Why? your VED don't have a fast release button? What you are saying complicates all the process.

Thanks James.

That's fine, I expect this to become a life-long routine.

Yes, it has a fast release. However once I release I return to complete flaccid. From here I can't pump up again without taking off the pump and giving myself a semi-erection. My penis too 'tight' otherwise and there's not enough for the pump to work with to create a vacuum.

I found that if I use a small size suction sleeve, instead of medium, I can pump up again after release without taking off the pump first.....but the hole is too small once my penis is engorged. When I release not much blood is released. On the third round of 10-15 secs, my penis starts to look pretty dark red. I'm not sure that's healthy.

I understand.

In my opinion, you are pumping to much. If you will pump less, not until your penis is really engorged, the blood will be released.
I also think that is not healthy that your penis get dark red, it is also because you are pumping to much.

Hope my explanation is enough clear, sometimes I have problem to express myself clear in English :)
