Hi all -

My doc gave me a Pentox prescription and Vermapil cream - I have yet to get the perscriptions but likely will in the next week as I feel I need to do something / give something a try before the condition continues to detiriorate. Kind of writting to get feedback, advice, and support (pro or con wise).

My question is -

Does Pentox actually help reduce the negative effects of peyronies disease? (my issue is mainly plaque/ED, not pain)

Do the benefits continue after stopping usage? (I don't want to take something like this, which people report causes upset stomach, etc., forever)

I am on the fence as to whether I also use the Vermapil cream at the same time. Doc seemed to say that they may work well together, but on the forums people say it has little effect. Is it worth using this too?

Thanks for any feedback.

So far, at least around here, the combination seems to be Pentox/Cialis (daily, 5 mg or 2.5) and VED.  This seems to have the most promise.  Adding MgCL to the mix also looks promising.

Thanks Kuaka - the advice of magnesium chloride seems good - I will likely add that to pentox. In my case maybe Pentox/Magnesium Chroloride and possibly Pycnogenol/LArginine as well (as my body reacted to it prefer, side effect wise, than Cialis).

Two questions for you and any others -

1- Does this combination of 4 substances seem okay to you guys? Is it okay to mix pentox with other drugs (whether Pycnogenol/L Arginine or Cialis? and how does my combination fare might you say?)

2- I have never done VED treatment because a - while I have hourglass and diagnosed plaque I don't have curvature once a full erection is achieved and b - I can get full or practically full erections via masturbation or foreplay which is particularly the case when taking a small dose of oral meds. If I can do this and don't bend significantly when fully erect is the VED treatment important still? Of course, given what it entails, I am hesitant about VED.

Thank you all.

The purpose of VED is to stretch the plaque, relax it and stretch it again...repeatedly in a short time...once or twice daily.  This would be beneficial for hourglass as well as curvature.  The danger is in over vacuum, so gentle and often is the key.  Softening the plaque AND reshaping it is the primary goal of the non-invasive treatments for PDS.  My opinion.  Take with as many grains of salt as you see fit.
