Does it help venous leak at all?

Jonbinspain

TBH, I can't see how it possibly could.

kuaka

The purpose of traction is to stretch the plaque on the Tunica.  Venous leakage is a different thing.

Dared

Ya I understand that kuaka but I guess what I'm asking is by remodeling the plaques tissue with traction, can that eventually lead to better erection quality/reduction of venous leak. Assuming that the deformity is causing the ed venous leak in the first place.

kuaka

I would not try that "in the dark".  If the plaque is indeed causing the leakage...and I would think that only a very detailed ultrasound could indicate that...then perhaps it might be of use.

What Kuaka said, only a detailed ultrasound (and I will add) done by a Peyronies specialist can give you the answer.

Got amazing support on the forum

As I understand it, once a vein is leaking it has been broken or perforated. No amount of plaque reduction will reverse that. It needs completely different treatment.

Jonbinspain, from what I've seen on the forum there's not much that can be done for venous leak? Outside of viagra, implant etc. My urologist, dr brandes, who is a peyronies specialist, doesn't seem to believe there's much to be done.

Jonbinspain

Dared;

I know that Dr Kuehaas at The London Andrology Centre has a technique for treating venous leakage. Whether something similar is available in the U.S. I don't know.

Stabler

Dared,

Dr Brandes is supposed to be very good he is with a reputable University (this is near me) I have talked with his office and personally with his Nurse/secretary Alice she is oh so helpful. You have chosen a good doctor I believe.

I believe he covers Nebraska Kansas, Oklahoma,  and Missouri.

Dared

Yes Stabler, he seems to know what he's talking about. Jonbinspain, if that is the case, I may consider traveling to the UK and having such a procedure done. Even if i would need to pay out of pocket...

Jonbinspain

You can google their website. If you send an enquiry, I'm sure they'll provide you with all details, including prices, etc.

I'm hoping to have my surgery there next month using the Egydio technique.
