HappyWife

Hi All, I don't often read these forums and I haven't read many of the posts on this site, however as a 'happy wife' with a husband with Peyronies I felt I should jump on this forum to share our success story.  Obviously I'm not claiming this approach will work for everyone, but having seen the suffering this disease can create I thought it only right to share the good results we've seen.

My husband has had Peyronies diagnosed about 4 years ago and after briefly dabbling with taking some western medicines he chose not to continue down that route. He basically did not treat it and it got worse. We could still have sex, but it became painful for him. Personally I didn't notice the bending in his penis, but he certainly could. He had multiple points were it bent. Sex became painful for him, although he was often reluctant to mention it at the time (he'd tell me only later). He went from having a good degree of stamina in sex to being having very fluctuating stamina and more often than not almost no stamina at all. The pain also meant we were having sex infrequently, and although we tried to be speak openly about Peyronies and I tried to be supportive, my husband really closed down a lot around sex & the disease (Glad there's good new coming up ey...)

Then about 5 months ago after I sent him an article from another site he tried using a Penis traction device. One of those metal things you wear for a while and gradually extend your wearing time. Really quickly he saw results. The pain seemed to go away during sex, no after pain with sex, correction of bending, new growth tissue where he needed it to correct bending, and the stamina came back big time Plus some length that had been lost appears to have come back. Months on it only seems to be getting better and better.

I don't want to give false hope to anyone, but it's such a damn relief for him I just had to come here and post. He has promised he'll jump on these boards and give the details, which he can do much better than me. But I've felt guilty keeping quite when we've stumbled at last on something that seems to be working, and working well. Apologise for not reading the other posts here before posting, but let's call this is my happy wife community service announcement :-)

If you don't mind what was the device called and can you give more details on how often he used the device.

HappyWife I am 21 years old and was diagnosed with Peyronie's about 8 months ago. Recently I was told by the urologist I should start wearing a traction device. Can you please tell which traction device your husband used? Sounds like it really helped and I am desperate to get this problem fixed.

Thank you

HappyWife

The device is called
'Quick extender pro', but I'm going to have to get his to jump on here to give details about how much to use it.
I do know that the time to use it gradually extends.

peyroniessufferer, I am 23 years old and have had peyronies for about a year now.  I started traction about 8 months into my bout so about the same point you are at now.  I use a Phallosan Forte and would say that it has helped me significantly. Ive seen improvement in curve, dents and erectile quality.  In my experience, traction is not a cure but with steady determined use, you can make some gains that will help improve the situation.  The important thing about the phallosan is that you can safely wear it while you sleep which allow you to get many extra hours in than with another device.
