Hi, I've had pelvic floor dysfunction/tension for about 2 years.  This combined with Ed and poor blood flow in pelvic area.  Could this cause Peyronies?  I also have back/hip pain with pain flaccid and erect(like a tightness). This could be because I'm stressing and researching on Internet every day like a mad man and not trying to cure it.  I was diagnosed with chronic prostatitis and few years ago after a prostate exam.  It was very painful.  I have hard flaccid a lot of the time and when it is soft it looks softer and like it's lacking blood flow.  L arginine helps with flaccid size some but the tightness is still there.  They examined me for Peyronies at the time and found no plaque(they checked by hand).  I don't know what to quite do.  I don't think I have low testosterone although I should start going back to the gym.  I was tested at the time of chronic prostatitis diagnosis and it was 816 and I'm 29 years old.  Anyone else have experience or can help me?

I've also had struggles with a white tongue that one doctor thought was candida ,noticed it after taking antibiotics and stress from prostatitis and I still have it.  Could it mean inflammation in the body?

Hello Jimbo,

Welcome to the forum, I wanted to try and address some of your questions, but I have a couple myself first, you said that you were examined for Peyronies and then you typed that they looked at your hands.... that wasn't all they did to examine you for the Peyronies was it? Did your Urologist do and ultrasound to see if you had plaque? Does your Urologist specialize in Peyronies? This is important.

Your issue with the white tongue, could be Thrush/Candida (a yeast infection of the mouth) but you didn't say if that is what it was or not.... you can get it from taking antibiotics, or if you use an inhaler of any kind for Asthma, you cant leave this untreated you would need an antifungal medication and it wont just go away, while it is normally not contagious, those with a weakened immune system can be more prone to get it and it can be passed from one person to another by putting your hands in your mouth and then touching something that someone else would put in theirs. (i.e. Children and their toys)

I am sure that others will be posting so please stick around and visit the other boards. I am going to send you a private message with our Welcome Letter it has useful links for the forum.

Have a great day

I meant they doctors did a physical exam.  No ultrasound.  I don't have typical Peyronies symptoms.  There more of pelvic floor dysfunction.

The white tongue was said to be candida by a chiropractor.  He said to cut out carbs which is hard to do because I like to be active.  I was given nystatin mouth rinse for about two weeks and it worked but then came back.  I think the stress is keeping it there.  It doesn't hurt,  it's just a white coating on the tongue.

Candida is a fungus that needs to be removed, if it came back after the Nystatin then it was not removed, you need another round of treatment or something different entirely. Call your doctor back and let them know the Thrush/Candida has returned,.

Jimbo228,

I have some peyronie plaques, and when it came painful I got some tension problems in pelvic region. With hard flacid penis.

It is an afraid reaction of your body. Your penis is going small (like in cold ambient) as fast that you can't evacuate the blood.

In my case peyronie causes stress and pelvic tension. When I'm quiet my penis is normal.

Try to eliminate the stress, because a big trauma relationated with your penis can do more pain, belive me, I've been haveing it for months. And I had some problems that seem to be candidas but It wasn't, only was skin reaction, no external causes... I fix it with soap and hidrating milk with aloe vera.. eliminate the stress around your penis, enjoy with it, and forget it is a negative thing. Please!!

Sorry for my english, I'm from spain. If you have more questions you can write me.

Thanks

See a specialist for Peyronies or someone who specializes in pelvic pain for men.

Many of us here have Peyronies and pelvic pain that go hand in hand. I have finally found relief by abstaining from sexual activity for long periods and avoiding at all costs any pelvic clenching. Never clench your pc muscles to ejaculate or stay hard. Also I recommend reverse kegels in a squatting position.
