I know that some members have had positive experience buying their Cialis from river pharmacy but I wanted to ask if anyone has bought from them recently and are they still legit? Do I need a prescription? My doctor won't give me a scrip he only sends it electronically to my pharmacy.

I didn't bought from them recently, bought Pentox and Cialis in the past, no problems.
I don't know why they should stop to be legit?
Give a call to Karen (if she still works there)

I bought Cialis from them a couple of months ago. They sent the same stuff they have always sent. It's clear that they are samples, and they are from India. They are the same kinds of samples of doctor would hand out to patients. Four pills in a foil packet. I forget the name brand of the sample, but I looked it up and it's the name they use for Cialis in India.

It's "Megalis" - which is a generic brand name in India for Tadalafil (Cialis).

Thanks gentlemen. I believe the same company that makes the megalis is the one that makes the cialis for the US. I'm going to go ahead with the purchase.

dscr17, I'm curious about your belief that the company that mfg's Megalis (company name: Macleods) also manufacturers Cialis - can you elaborate on what you know in this regard?  Would certainly make me feel better about the Megalis if this is true (though I've never had an issue with it to begin with - it seems just as effective).

Thanks,

Nemo, I misspoke and I apologize for the mistake of attributing megalis with Cialis. If you Google Cipla you will find that they manufacture the generic version of cialis in India under the name Tadacip. Eli lilly has a contract with them. If you Google Macleod pharmaceutical you will see that they manufacture megalis  which is another generic Cialis. I did not find a relationship between Macleod and Eli Lilly but that doesn't mean there isn't one. I spoke today to someone from river and she said that the manufacturers make the generics for the Indian market and they make the name brand for other parts of the world all in the same place. So this is very reassuring because the same standards are used to make both the generic and the name brand assuring us the safety.

Nemo you  said megalis is just as effective making it a win win win in terms of price ,efficacy and safety. I can't wait to try.my megalis. I have a question are you gentlemen able to cut the pill in quarters? Because that's what I plan to do.
Thanks, drcr17

Actually, that is a BIG selling point for me for Megalis over Cialis - Megalis comes in perfectly round tablets, which are infinitely easier to quarter than the teardrop shape of Cialis.

Another big tip I discovered by experimentation: stand the pill up on its edge in your cutter when you cut it (lean it against the fence of your cutter, etc.). By cutting into the thin, hardened edge of the pill, the pill will cut through cleanly and not crush as it does when you cut across it flat.  Try this - you'll never go back to the old way again.

It depends where you live. Customs always seize mine and say I need a prescription or they will destroy it. And the urologists here are clueless and refuse to give me one because they haven't even heard of it and are too lazy to look into it or even listen

Zecklebaum;

I know that's one hell of a big country you live in, but you could try looking in our members list for other Aussies. Send them a p.m. Maybe one of them will know of a clued up, or accommodating Uro?  Alternatively, they might be able to help with how to obtain Pentox.
