Correct Cylinder size?

How do I choose the correct cylinder size. I will follow the once cylinder protocol in hopes of breaking down the current scar tissue if possible and fill in the dent so that I eliminate the indentation completely. That is my goal.

What would be the correct cylinder size to get. I read a lot but not sure which would be the best. Maybe Old man and James can comment.

Andros:

OK, the cylinder size is based on the brand name and model of VED that you purchase. Most of the medical quality grade VEDs come with sizing inserts, i.e. 2 inch cylinder standard size with one sizing insert with an ID of 1 and 3/4 inches, one with an ID of 1 and 1/2 inches. (These are the sizes of the inserts for the Vitality OTC one cylinder VED). The Osbon Erecaid Esteem uses the same size inserts as the Vitality OTC one cylinder VED.

Other brands may or may not have the same size inserts. So, you should check out the product description/specifications prior to ordering the device.

2" is no good because I will have problems for sure. I checked today. The only way is to get a regular pump and a glass pvc cylinder. I checked and found the best pump I could after all what they do is resell brake bleeding kit hand pumps. I am getting that separately and I have to order a cylinder from online.

I am not sure which one is good and which is not. Also I am not sure whether or not you need a silicone sleeve. I am aware that I am not going for size or any of that stuff. All I want is to break scar tissue which is there and eliminate a dent that has become more prominent.

I know that for straightening you need a narrower cylinder to push the penis on the sides but still a 2.25 will be narrow. It can be my first cylinder I guess. Not sire whether or not a 2.50 is better to give me some space or it will be too wide and skin might be sucked in unless I get a silicone sleeve. I read that usually sleeves break.

Remember I want the dents and especially the one that brought me here to be eliminated if I ever manage to do that.

Suggestions as to what brand of Cylinder and from where are welcome.

Andros

Any suggestions from where to get a complete Cylinder 2.25" x 9" with a male to female attachment at a reasonable price. I have the pump.

Sizing-
We recommend using a tube that is at least 1/4" but not more than 1/2" more than your natural erect diameter. Why? You need some room for expansion, but over sizing the tube tends to create two problems. One, the extra void space around the base provides the opportunity for your testicles to be suddenly sucked up into the tube.

This can be a painful experience. Two- the tissues along the penis are not all the same. Some engorge more quickly than others. If the tube is sized correctly, these "fast" tissues will reach the cylinder walls and then be restrained, while slower engorging tissues catch up. That results in even enlargement and stretching. If the tube is oversize, the appearance will be uneven, and the stretching unequal. Many people pump in stages, using step up tube sets. They pack the one they are in (fill it to the sides full shaft length) then move up to the next size tube, in the same session.

Measuring-
Penis tubes are sold based on their Inside Diameter, the width of the opening. The easiest way to find your diameter is to measure your circumference first. This is the distance around the penis shaft. Use a strip of paper, perhaps an inch wide. Wrap this around and back over itself, about midway on your shaft. Make a mark parallel to the penis shaft that appears on both ends of the paper at the point they cross. Then lay the paper out flat, and measure the distance between the marks. That will be your circumference. Now, divide the circumference by 3.14, or Pi. The answer will be your diameter. For example if your circumference is 5-1/2 inches (5.5") your diameter would be 1.75", and the proper tube would be a 2" or 2-1/4" model. Length matters too. There needs to be airspace remaining in the cylinder; it is like a cushion that moderates the vacuum effect. For example penis cylinders should be 1-3" longer than the length you expect to fill. Custom lengths are available in most cylinder types.

Andros, you really want the smallest size that you can fit erect. If for instance you are 1.5" erect but you cannot not fit in a 1.75" because of the curvature then try the 2".  Don't forget you MUST use some form of Lubricant. I happen to use borage oil as it had anti inflammatory properties.

I'm confused..I bought the Post t vac a few months ago but have not used it yet for various reasons..part of which I'm a little nervous.  Any way..I've only got one cylinder and it's almost 3 inches wide.  It says in the instruction manual to hold erection for no more than 30 minutes. Doesn't say anything about doing it for couple minutes then stop then re pump and repeat like what is being suggest here?  Mine comes with these tension rings that u put on to hold the erection. So am I supposed to slide it on and hold for a minute then take it off...become limp...the repeat??

Because ......  VED's were initially created for men who are impotent. The instructions that come with it are how to get an erection by pumping it up, and then sliding a rubber band onto the base of your erection to hold the erection by holding the blood in. And yes DO NOT exceed 30 minutes.

On this forum we are suggesting using VED's for Peyronies therapy. So we aren't using them to create an erection, but to use them for therapy to stretch and overcome the plaque formation. We do have a protocol pump-hold-release, and to repeat the cycle.

Ah..makes sense then. So I wouldn't need the ring or anything. Just basically pump and hold in the cylinder for a minutes or so? Then release..then repeat?
