Can someone give me some info on this?

I don't really know where to post this, but after perusing around the internet, and not finding much information, it seems like this place would be the most likely to know about my situation.

I've had ED.  Went to the urologist for a ultrasound.  He did the ultrasound-ing for a bit, then gave me an injection that was supposed to produce an erection (it didn't).  When he did more ultrasound-ing post-injection, he pointed at the screen and said, "that right there is scar tissue.  It's the reason for your ED, and we can fix it, just set up an appointment with my secretary".  Then he left.

I don't have a bend or anything.  When looking at the ultrasound, it looked more like it was closer to the middle of penis.  From what I can tell this forum/Peyronie's deals with scar tissue causing a bend in the penis.  But, I was hoping maybe people here would understand what the doctor is saying I have, and point me in the direction of some information on the topic.

Not always plaques will make a bend or a curve.
To find plaques, the ultrasound is made in flacid.
To check for venous leackeges it is done with an enduced erection.
Did he explain you more about your situation?
When the doctor told you "we can fix it" did he explain you how?
From what you have written, in my opinion you should see an other urologist, preferable a Peyronies specialist.

Thank you for the quick response James

He did the ultrasound flaccid.  Then he gave me some injection to give an erection, but it didn't work, so he continued doing the ultrasound flaccid, and then showed me a thing on the ultrasound screen that he said wasn't there before the injection, but was scar tissue, and the reason for my problems.  He didn't say it like, it was maybe the reason for my ED or anything, he said it like it was a definitive fact.

I'm not seeing another urologist. There's an 8 month wait-list to see urologists in this country.  Not only is my GP not going to just let me go see another one for no good reason, but also there's no way I'm leaving a Dr that said he found the problem, and can fix it, after all the BS doctors I've been dealing with over this (ex saying it's all in my head, and just need to not worry).

I've searched this forum, and I've seen my urologists name posted, and the general impression I got was that he's a good doc for this in my area.

I don't think he told me how "we're going to fix this".  If he did, it was so quick I missed it (the appointment was at 7am, and I was still half asleep).  I've had 2 appointments with him so far, and gotten bloodwork for him.  A initial meeting, then this ultrasound.  Between the 2 meeting I've only spent maybe 4 minutes total with him.  Seems like he's busy going from patient to patient.  I don't really care about the 'bedside manor', if he can legit treat me.

If you are fine with the doctor and as you say you have to wait 8 months for a second opinion I am fine.
At the end is your penis, not mine. :)
I have aske how he will fix your problem because many doctors run directly to surgery and on this forum we think it should be the last choice and not first. Especially the new Xiaflex injections that are much less invasive than surgery.
Proposing you to read the link bellow to get some more general information about Peyronies:

Well, it's not really a second opinion, I've been to a bunch.  I'm not really in a spot where I can just be throwing away doctors that say they can fix it at this point. And, tbh I'm not really sure what reason you have against my doctor.  Everywhere I've looked has quotes like "Dr. Brock is one of the best peyronies doctors on the planet".

I've been trying to read around these forums, and have seen these Xiaflex injection's being talked about, but it seems most of the people here have a different situation than me (bent, not broken) so I'm not sure if the same treatment with that would apply. I DEFINITELY would rather something other than surgery.  That isn't even a question.  I can't really remember exactly the words he said, because it was so quick, but I was under the impression it was a non-surgery route.  He didn't say a specific drug, but I'm like 90% sure he said something like, "This is your problem, We can fix it, there's drugs for it, set up an appointment".

I'll take a look at the link you sent, and thanks again.
