Hi guys, I"m new here and recently found out I have peyrones. I'm wondering how do I know when the acute stage has ended and the disease has stabilized. I'm coming up on a year since I believe the injury occurred.

It varies. Normally, the progression of the disease will cease, or slow down. Pain goes or decreases. And calcification may well begin.

If you have not started treating this already, start now! The earlier you fight back against this, the better chance of minimalising the damage.

In addition to Jonbinspain proposals, read as much as you can on the forum to understand how to fight this disease.

Thanks for the replies. Jonbinspain i am currently doing traction for about three months. I'm using a device called phallosan forte which i decided upon because of comfort and also the ability to wear for many hours at a time.  I have considered ved but I'm somewhat fearful of injury because I've heard its fairly easy to do so if your not careful. so far i haven't seen a lot of improvement from the traction, perhaps a slight improvement. My erections are curved much more severely when partially erect, when I'm fully erect the curvature is maybe 20 to 30 degrees at this point.

Any improvements tend to be in small increments and happen slowly.

Re VED. Yes, you can injure yourself if not careful. Normally, you will feel that you're overdoing it before that happens and release pressure. If there's any hint of pain, release immediately.

20-30 degrees is not as bad as some. So long as you don't have ED problems, sex should still be very possible.

Ya, the sex is fine right now, erections are a little weaker than before and not as frequent but still good enough. My dilemma with the ved is since I'm doing traction maybe adding ved would put to much stress on my penis.  I'm wearing the traction 8 to 12 hrs a day mostly while asleep.  if anything the traction has helped with the pain since I've started. I could be in much better shape than i am but my urologist is incompetent and didn't diagnose it correctly. I had to diagnose myself online and by that time i was already six months into the disease.

I don't think it is a good idea using the traction device while asleep.
All the experts advising a break every 2 hours because of restricted blood flow to the glans and not to use it while asleep.
VED should not put any stress if used correctly. You should pump to the level that you feel comfortable and not stretching.
VED supposed to increase the blood flow to the penis.

You could be right. I'm on pentox to try and help with blood flow. Has anyone used ved and seen significant improvement?

Do you wear it without a break for 8-12 hours !?
