I'm not sure I put this in the right place but I wanted to ask this to see what you guys think.

Ive kinda discussed this with neov already but, in your guys' opinion do you think running a cycle of testosterone/steroids if someone were to be in the early stages of peyronies would better that persons chances of being among the small minority of people who clear this disease spontaneously on there own? Especially being young already(in your 20s). Or do you think this could have a bad effect on something like peyronies?

Since these anabolic drugs are known to help heal you faster and help you recover faster. Plus the higher androgen levels have got to be very beneficial. This may sound like a stupid question and far fetched but I was really wondering and have been thinking about this. What do you guys really think? Has anyone here younger or anyone at all ever happen to try this within the early stages of peyronies?

I have wondered this myself.

It would certainly seem that it at least helps to tackle the problem head-on when used in conjunction with traction. Matt Foley put a post up some time back about having used tren in conjunction with his traction, & gained 1/2 inch in 6 weeks - which is immense progress. Obviously it's impossible to know whether he would have been able to make such gains without the tren, but I've never heard of anyone achieving anything similar, so it certainly seems to suggest tren was of use in his instance. Food for thought.

Well, am wondering myself why testosterone is not used commonly for the treatment of Peyronie's even if testosterone levels weren't low?

Wonder if I should try a month of oral testosterone?

Any feedback welcome.
Age early thirties, peyronies 4.5 years

Testosterone is not a Peyronies treatment.
It is increasing libido and general health, also better blood flow.

Test is a powerful anti inflammatory and could possibly help in that regard. If it goes low it supposedly leads to a thinning of the tunica, although this has not to my knowledge been directly connected with the disease. Still, it does make a connection between the condition of this tissue and test levels. I have no idea what would happen if you raised test to above normal levels but would like to know what happens if you try it.

Oral supplementation is not the best way to go however.   And I wonder how long you would want to stay on it.  Also as you would likely have to come off it eventually the post-cycle therapy to restart your normal production could be tricky and have negative effects. Let us know.

While I cannot attribute the progress I have made to T, I have been on Depo-T injections for a couple of months now.  I seem to get peak effect a couple of days after the shot, then it tapers off gradually until time for the next shot.  Time release medicines are approximations...depending on a certain level of a particular enzyme.  Differences in this level account for different responses to such medications.  I was fortunate to get to sit in on a presentation for medical professionals at the Mayo clinic where such was presented.  A particular time release medicine being developed was used to illustrate...it was fine for the "Norse" genetics of the typical MN resident, it would overdose 1/3 of the people of India.  That realization has prompted a direction towards developing time release medicines based on your personal genome.  Soon, "your" prescription for a time release medicine will differ greatly from "mine"...and we will all get "similar" results.  As an example, I respond very slowly to most time released medicines.  My wife, on the other hand, gets all of it at once.  This can really confuse medical "professionals" who are given protocols to follow as it all people respond the same.

Well, i do have to warn you about the obvious dangers of running a cycle. Not that you will run straight away into problems, but in the long term you have to watch out for testicle shrinkage, acne, gynecomastia, and also it depends on what kind of steroid you take. Also, you need to do "post cycle therapy", which includes taking liver, and heart protection tablets to avoid further complications.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Think about it. It could give help for a moment or not who knows, but what happens after that? You are young and you can't use steroids all your life. And after you stop the cycle, your own testosterone levels as well as other hormone levels will be extremely low and messed up for a long time, for some they never recover back to what they were.  Now that if something would be BAD for this condition in the long run.
