I'm confused on to how long i have to take pentox once i'm diagnosed with peyronies? Indefinitely? I can't imagine taking a prescription blood thinner when the rest of your body might need it and it's only to help your penis IN THEORY( i highly doubt it's 100% confirmed that all the pentox is just gunna rush to people's penis's)

Knowing this, can i stop it after a year? It can't just "get worse if i stop" at any given time or that's simply ridiculous to tell people to take a prescription blood thinner 3 times a day when they don't need a blood thinner or have any blood clotting.

Also, i don't know how to edit my last message so i'll just add this-

I've asked this before but didn't get too great of an answer, how exactly does pentox work to help the scar/decrease it? What mechanism does it do/how does it help? Can it actually reduce the scar tissue at all whatsoever?

Sorry, both your questions have no clear answers as I know :(
Maybe you can get to your own conclusions by reading the Pentox related researches and posts.

I explained how pentox works to you (in layman's terms) in this thread: Hello, new member here.Help me!! - Peyronies Society Forums

In that same post I linked to our resource library, which has scientific papers that explain exactly how pentox works: Peyronie's Disease Resource Library - PDS - Peyronies Society Forums

FWIW, I took pentox for 8 months. It was very effective. Since stopping pentox, I have had continual improvements over time. I am very close to what I used to be pre-peyronie's regarding size and performance. I am sexually active with my girlfriend and we have no problems. The important thing is that I got on pentox early so that scarring was minimal.
