I was diagnosed with Peyronies this morning. Accepting it as I continue to go on, I fractured my penis and ruptured my urethra completely while having very aggressive, very drunk sex, with my at the time gf. That all happened almost exactly 3 months ago.
I'm 23, and properly abused drinking, sex, and the combo of sex while inebriated way too much. I had surgery on my penis at the ER in San Diego CA immediately after the freak accident which, will go down as maybe the worst thing that's happened to me.
Following surgery I had to retain the catheter in for 2 and a half months due to complications (penile infections, urethra infections, and infection in my epydidemis at one point which felt like i was getting kicked in the balls! and fistula development from the urethra which did eventually close up). Needless to say, worst 2 months of life as I couldn't work, no sex, and was constantly in pain..weed helped tho.
So the first day after my catheter was removed I woke up early to check out morning wood. It seemed pretty straight and since you can't get a full erection with a catheter in, it was the first time i saw my dick fully hard so i was enthused that the
penile fracture didnt cause any
Erectile Dysfunction.. yet.
Anyways, later in the week i would get weird sensations throughout my dick, and mild pain during erections still. Then I noticed my dick looked really swollen on the right side of my shaft causing my dick to bend to the left a little bit when im standing up. The swelling has subsided a little bit and the pain has continued to go down when i have an erection. It also seems inflammed/swollen on the right hand side when
flaccid so bends a little to the left when
flaccid as well.
I was even able to have sex again and it was mutually enjoyable, I def wont be the beast I used to be and I dont think Ill be having it as often or in any fun positions cowgirl stuff, but at least i can do it again.
Now two weeks after the removal of my catheter I went in for a followup, told him I could have sex ok, and I told him about the slight bend to the left, as well as a rotational spin of the head of my penis so that now the eye of my penis isnt aligned with 12 oclock no more, but 2:00 oclock maybe. The uro said he could feel some hardening of scar tissue on the left hand side of the base of my penis, and another one on the right hand side where the
inflammation seemed to be.
Then he said there was a cure! Vit E that contains all the tocopherol's not just alpha for 3 months, 400 IU twice a day! then come back and see the progress, or come back sooner if it worsens. He said surgery would be a last resort option and seeing that I can have sex decently ok itd have to get worse for me to wanna do that. Or 3000$ injections in my dick for consecutive days which probably wont do anything either.
I brought up
pentox since I had read this forum from top to bottom it seemed like before my appt. Uro said hes heard of it but that its not how they treat the condition, unless maybe if it's calcified already, which hasnt happened to me yet. Should I find another uro? even tho he is the one that operated on my penis to begin with and seems like he knows his crap when it comes to penile injuries and urology in general really, the urology department he works for is supposedly really good already (Dr. Cohen, Genesis Urology) Anyone know one specialized in this field in the San Diego area?
I'm hoping my deformation doesnt get worse, currently I really am ok with it as I realize it could be much worse and it seems bent less than 30 degrees. I was told that a lot of people have seen improvements with Vit E in the 3 month time frame, some within even a month. But being in the
acute phase is there anything else I can do besides the over the counteract supplements that are available at any gnc store?
