I normally use a traction device for 3 1/2 to 4 hours every day.  But, a person must be careful.  I may have been stretching too much because I ended up with a Bleeding problem today.  I must have broken a blood vessel in my penis.  Now, the body will try and repair this and I will end up with a worse Peyronies injury.  People, Please be careful.  You could make things worse.  FYI  dplookin

You are right that traction and VED should be undertaken carefully, but your injury might not cause further Peyronie's.

If you injured a superficial capillary or small vein, you might have a bruise for a few days with no further problems. You have to injure the tunica, which is deeper in the penis, to cause scar tissue to form.

Skjald..........I'm getting a lot of bleeding when I try to pee.........hope it heals itself.  Don't have money to see a Doctor or go to a Hospital.............dplookin

dplookin,

Is blood coming out of the urethra (pee hole) when you pee? If so, go to a urologist or doctor immediately. Injury to the urethra can cause problems more immediate than Peyronie's, like infection and urethral scarring. Please get that checked out as soon as you can.

Skjald.......Yes, I was peeing blood, and I did go to a Hospital Emergency Room.  The uroligist there thinks I may have just torn something with the traction.  He said to drink lots of water and keep an eye on the bleeding for the next 3 or 4 days.  No Traction for sure at this time.  Thanks dplookin

I'm sorry dplookin, I really hope your get better soon :(
What you describe sounds like a phenomenon, very weird. I can't see how that's even possible. Scary.

dplookin

NeoV.........Thanks....It was weird and Scarey.  I was peeing a lot of blood.  But, by the time I got home from the hospital the blood was minimum.  Guess I'm getting better.  I was afraid the hospital was going to keep me there and cut me open...........again, Thanks for your response.  dplookin

I had a lot of blood in the pee before my bladder surgery to take out the stones I had. It was happening especially after walking, long driving or any physical activity. The doctor said it was because the stones were moving.
Proposing you to check out the subject. Make an ultrasound for the bladder. I don't see how the traction device will harm the urethrae to the level of bleeding. I may be wrong, but check out the subject.

James.....Thanks for your comments.  There was not just blood coming out but chunks of something.....not sure what.  The Hospital Doctors thought I had just torn something inside me while using the traction device.  They checked my urine and blood and said everything looked fine.  By the time I got home from the hospital the bleeding had stopped, fortunately.  Thanks, dplookin

Sorry, didn't mention that chunks were also coming out in my case also. The doctor said those a re blood clothes.
I am still proposing you to make an ultrasound for you bladder to be sure that no stones there.

James.....You just may be very correct about my problem.  Just wish it would go away by itself.  I don't have the money to get treated.  The bleeding went away on Monday when I returned home from the hospital.  Now it's Wednesday morning and it looks like the bleeding is coming back.  The uroligist (spelling?) said I should drink lots of water, but that will make me pee more which will cause more blood to come out.  I would think he would have thought about bladder stones as a possible problem.  Thanks, dplookin

dplookin

James.....My second reply this morning.......I now understand why the Urologist said for me to drink lots of water.  It helps to make small stones pass from the bladder.  So, I guess I better drink even more water.  I just hate seeing all that blood and chunks of stuff coming out.  I am still afraid to go back to the traction device even though I know I will.  Health issues are a Pain.  Thanks......dplookin

You are right regarding drinking a lot of water. Small stones may slip out true the urethrae and most important, sand.
If the sand don't go out, the result is sedimentation and stones. At my bladder surgery the doctor take out 3 stones bigger than 1" in diameter and many small ones.
By the way, more water you will drink, bigger the chances the bleeding will stop.
Don't run back to the traction. Finish this problem first.

I know what a quart it is as I worked with US made aircrafts so everything is in US units. :)
It is approximately 4 liter & 1/4. It is OK. Doctors advising minimum 2 quarts per day in normal situations.

James:

Need to let you know that a U.S. quart is NOT 4 and 1/4 liters. A U.S. gallon is 4 quarts or 3.875 liters. So, a U.S. quart would be 1/4 of 3.875 liters.

Yes Old Man, I know, one quart is 0.96875 liter, almost one liter. :)
Sometimes my expressions in English are wrong. :)
British gallon is approximately 4.5 litter.

James..........regarding my major bleeding, and drinking a lot of water.....Something I failed to say in regards to this problem.  When I was in the hospital, they tested my blood and urine.  They said that both looked good......consequently, no indication of an infection.  And, I have not had a fever nor any pain.  Not sure what really happened.  I drank a lot of water for 5 days.  Just FYI........dplookin

Sounds good you don't have an infection.
The best thing to do in my opinion in this stage is to do a bladder ultrasound to see if have stones or not.
It may give you an answer. This was the answer in my case.

James.....Thank you for your advice, and it is good advice, but I can't afford to have this done.  Health Care Costs are too high.  The Hospital wanted me to go to an Urologist for a follow up but I don't have the money, and who knows what he would want me to do that would cost even more money.  Those people are in business to make money.  I am going to try and solve the problem myself, Hopefully.  An enlarged prostate might be the root of the problem which would cause less urine flow, etc.................Again, Thank you, I really appreciate your input.  dplookin

I understand you because I am also in bad financial situation.
I don't know how is in the US, but you can't just walk-in and ask for the bladder ultrasound cost?
This what I have done.

James......No, from my experience, it is not that easy to walk in and ask the cost.  It would cost me $40 to $50 American Dollars just to go into an medical office.  They don't give away information without wanting to diagnose a person, etc before they give out any information.  It's about Money.  They want what I don't have.....Money.  But, Thanks.  dplookin

james1947

Sorry that can't be done in this simple way.
Here also everything is about money, but this is the reason they will do an ultrasound if you will ask for.

dplookin

James.......Did your problem, bleeding, go away and then come back before you were treated ?  dplookin

james1947

Yes dplookin, the bleeding come and go when driving too long (manual transmission), walking for more than 30 minutes or the smallest physical work. Also 4 urologists and one internal specialist (doctor) suggested that the stones are the reason for the bleeding. Also the internal doctor had the best diagnosis and best treatment for the stones before the surgery. I am paying $15 for the ultrasound, charged local prices because I have residence permit. He is the closest to an urologist for 1,500,000 people, treating all the urology problems except surgeries.

Head Up

dplookin-

Thanks to the AFA (which has been a curse and blessing), you should have access to quality health insurance, especially for dirt cheap if you don't have the money.

Also, when I recently went and saw this URO, he did a bladder ultra-sound in the office which I totally did not expect. It was over in 1-2 mins. I would call around and see what UROs in your area offer this service in their office. If it involves going to a hospital and making an appt through them, they WILL rape your wallet.

dplookin

Head Up and James.............Thank You for your information.  I am still going to put off the ultrasound and Urologist for now.  I found some information on the Internet about healing my problem with Natural Products, and I have learned that some of the things that I have been eating has made a simple problem a worse problem.  But, for now, I am going to try these Natural techniques to see if they work.  I learned that Goldenseal can stop the Bladder Bleeding, and more.  Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my posts.  dplookin

To add to my comments below, I try natural products all the time to solve health problems.  Three years ago, I got a bad kidney infection.  I cured that with Sugarless Cranberry Juice.  Then the cranberry juice gave me a bad stomach ulcer (I had a bad stomach to start).  I cured the ulcer with Raw Manuka Honey.  No antibiotics nor other drugs, etc.  Just FYI....dplookin
