Would a three cylinder be more efficient for correcting curvature as opposed to a one cylinder?

Does the amount of plaque seem to make a difference in terms of how successful VED works?

Old Man suggests the three cylinder may be more efficient for correcting curvature

Does anyone know where to purchase the Soma series three cylinder VED in the UK?

Shankerbill

I purchased the SOMAcorrect manual (3 cylinder) from www.iMEDicare.eu baseed at Borehamwood, Herts, UK. Very good VED and following Old Man's helpful guidance, using the 3 cylinders, I was achieving results. From about a third up from the base of my dick I had waisting and a very noticeable indent either side. I started the VED regime 9 months ago and by last summer I would say there was 40 or 50percent improvement as the waisting on the end two thirds of my dick started filling out. Then in mid-Summer I developed an allergy to the water-based regular lube I was using; this resulted in balinitis or BXO and the foreskin, glans and part of the shaft became sore with blisters so it was in a shocking state. Now I have cured the balinitis, I carry on using the acqueous cream I was prescibed for part of the treatment as an effective lube - mixed with a little water. I lost 3 months but now back on the regime again. SBill

Sorry to hear about your setback, Shankerbill.  Better that it was from the lube and not the VED itself.

Did you get a replacement manual pump at the time of purchase or is that something that should be purchased if and when needed?  I gather all the SOMAs being sold in US and the UK are basically the same?

I am using sunflower oil or olive oil (not the extra virgin as it smells very strong) as lube with no problems.
You may want to try them out.

James,

Are oil based lubes prefered over water based?

james1947

I really don't know Drew, I just know that I am using them successfully.
Th water based lubes are more easy to clean, but I had some allergy problems with them.

Interesting to hear James, you also had allergy problems with the water based lube.  I will try the sunflower oil, thanks for the tip.

Drew, I never got any replacements, just the manual pump with 3 cylinders. It has lasted six months of fairly frequent use and is still good.
At first I found the small 'A' cylinder too small and the 'C' too large so just used the 'B' middle one. But then I realised that by erecting in the small and following the forum protocol between cylinders in the same session, different sets of arteries in the penis are being activated and subjected to different and opposite pressures which must be beneficial. One warning for those who use oil based lubricants. Do not use alcohol to clean acrylic plastic, which I believe most from sex shops are made from.

It will cause cracks in the plastic, and those cracks may propagate and lead to a sudden failure by implosion while in use. With the acrylic cylinders sold in the sex shops you give those a good look over before each use, see cracks toss it.

Probably the same goes for Lexan which the medical grade tubes are made of. Soap and water only.
