Extensive Oral Treatment Plan: Advice needed
« on: November 25, 2014, 12:20:22 AM »

Hi there,

It has been about 7-8 months since injury from sex which rapidly resulted in my Peyronies condition. I’m 25 years old.

I have been taking L-Arginine, Acetyl L-Carnitine and Cialis for most of this time, and started Ubiquinol/CoQ10 and Pentox in the last month.

I have misused VED and Traction which has likely made things worse for me, but I plan to resume extremely light VED therapy in the next few days.

My questions mainly relate to oral treatments.

Since I have only seen my condition worsen, I am looking at fighting this thing from every angle. In the last week I have added a bunch of extra supplements to my regime and it is now as follows:

Now taking:

•   Pentox - 3 doses daily
•   L-Arginine 3-5 grams daily
•   Acetyl L-Carnitine  – 3 grams daily
•   Ubiquinol/CoQ10 – 300mg daily
•   Cialis – 5mg daily
•   Curcumin capsuels – 1.5 grams daily
•   Garlic Capsules – 2 daily
•   Vitamin E 500IU capsules – 2 daily
•   Sustained Release Vitamin C tablets – 3-4grams daily
•   Maca – 2 capsules daily
•   Vitamin B6 tablet – 1 daily (200mg)
•   Quercetin/Rutin Capsule – 1 daily
•   Fish Oil Triple Stregth Capsules – 2 daily
•   Daily massage with Castor oil
•   Chewing on slices of ginger which is disgusting but I read ginger can help too.

Now I would very much like to fix the curvature and regain lost length/girth and we know that the more angles you fight this from the better.  I would really appreciate some input on
a)   Whether what I am currently taking is a good idea
b)   Whether what I would like to add to my current regime is a good idea and if it may help.  If not all of them, then which ones in particular should I add?

To add:
•   Vitamin K2/Dcombo (1/2 per day) (to counter Vit E blood thinning effect)
•   Horny Goat Weed
•   120mg Gingkgo Biloba,
•   50mg Zinc,
•   800mcg Folic Acid,

•   Gotu kola herb

•   Bromelain 750mg 3 times daily empty stomach

•   Potaba
•   Selenium
•   multi-vitamin.

•   Procarbazine
•   Potassium para-aminobenzoate
•   Colchicine

•   Carnosine
•   Benfotiamine
•   Pyridoxamine
•   Resveratrol
•   Pycnogenol
•   Astral Fruit

•   Replace Castor oil massaging with Olive oil?

I apologise for the long list of supplements and medications, but these are what people are reporting are helpful for the condition but I am really hoping some of you may be able to help me figure out what I should be taking and if taking all of the above may be a good idea.

Also I had three other questions:

1)   I am still trying to figure out the right Ubiquinol/CoQ10 supplement to take.  I finished one bottle of capsules labelled “Ubiquinol BioActive 100mg, Active form of CoQ10, Each capsule containing Ubiquinol-10 (reduced coenzyme Q10)” and am now finishing the other bottle of capsules I have labelled “CoQ10 100mg, each capsule containing Ubidecarenone 100mg, d-alpha-Tocophero 6.7mg.  Which one should I be taking??

2)   Also just wondering if my liver will be okay?   Should I take something such as milk-thistle to assist with liver?

3)   Can any of these oral treatments potentially reduce deformity?  I really want to regain a normal look and feel to my penis.  I am prepared to be patient as long as there is a decent amount of hope to be had with any of these treatments.

Thanks for any insight and/or help!

It's a matter of what works for you. My only advice would be to watch your blood thinning drug/supplement intake.  Omega 3 oil, Pentox, and L-arginine will all increase viscosity of the blood.

The CoQ10/Uniquinol dosage should not be a question, take 400mg per day as per the famous lone study that exists on it and Peyronie's.

#3 question, all we have are studies and the experiences of the members here. If it makes you feel better, many of us think that we DO have improvements on CoQ10 and ALCAR and even arginine, and there are studies on the first two showing an improvement in deformity. The CoQ10 study in particular is of note because it was done well and showed very good results. The ALCAR study showed extremely positive results, but the study was not done well and was small. However ALCAR has studies not related to Peyronie's causing me to suspect that it does indeed have a place in treating Peyronie's.

Potaba has been shown to be effective but can cause acute hepatitis

Resveratrol is a great supplement, as is pycogenol.

As far as the Vit E goes, use the one that has more Gamma TocoPherols... at least 400mg. Like this one
