I get colds easy when on pentox. Need some help

Hello, sorry to bother everyone with a new thread.

I have gotten colds very easy when on pentox. I have heard it weakens the immune system. So how long should I take a break from it? Do I recover faster from the colds when I do? Can you have a hold up from pentox a few days, and then start over without losing to much effect. How long is it in the system?

Yes, you are right, Pentox weakens the immune system.
This is the reason I stopped taking Pentox after 18 months, even I had many benefits from taking it (3*400 mg/daily). By the end of those 18 months, I was getting severe flue every few weeks.
After stopping the Pentox, my flue problem was gone immediately, so I think it isn't stays in the system. It is just my opinion. I have now some additional health problems, I will go back on Pentox in the future.

Keep your immune system as strong as possible by avoiding sugar, sleeping, and working out. Try reishi mushroom or AHCC or any other potent immune booster. I'm not sure how pentox works as far as the immune system goes but always stay healthy.

Have much more information on the Internet regarding Pentoxifylline as an immune suppressor and increasing the immune suppression medications effect.
Also the subject was discussed on the forum in the past in a few topics. The way how is affecting the immune system is by lowering, sometimes dangerously the white blood cells counts.

Yes, I found I was getting colds regularly with Pentox - I have currently stopped taking it with the winter coming. ( yes, it does get cold in Southern Spain )

In fact, a surpressed immune system can make you more susceptible to many things. Not a nice thought!
