Guys the problem i have is i want an extra inch in length.. current erect length is 6 inches but my girth is 5.5-5.8 inches... need to measure it after my penis is fully healed from surgery. I heard you gain about 0.5" from using pumps... i don't want to be 6 inches around or more. Is there a way of using them so i don't gain girth?
Thanks
Steve

james1947

Using VED with moderation, I mean low pressure will keep good blood flow, maybe gaining some length and girth, maybe not.
Why you don't want to get some more girth?

My current girth is around 5.5inches to 5.8. If mine increases say 0.5 i could be like 6.2 inches at the middle of my penis. Apparently 6 inches in girth is too big for alot of women. There preferred girth is more 5.5 to 5.75.
Dr Franklin recommended me a penis extender. In 6 months i should gain 3 cm's but it also i think can come with 0.5 inch in girth.

You are saying that from your experience, or from reading a research?

You may be right according to the link bellow:

But the link bellow says different, see the table in the link, so maybe you should not worry getting up to 6"&1/2 or even more:

Yeah i've seen that table. I don't think that is a very good idea of what women really want. The amount of comments i've read that have said 6 inches of girth can be tricky for some women... then again if i use lube etc which i will be because i'm loosely circumcised so i will need to... what i may do is use the stretcher until my girth is 6 inches then go no further.
My penis is also 2 inches in width and according to your first link thats half an inch more than the average. I mean is big width good or will that cause issues too. Also can't women get used to girth? I mean if i go slow at first.
Just wondering will having a big girth and say 6.5/7 inches make it easier for me to be good in bed?

james1947

I had a few woman in my life, all stated that they had better sex with bigger girth, they liked also go slow at first.
They never mentioned a number.
The vagina is flexible, babies are born from there also.

Thanks james! If my penis was say 6 inches but the girth was like 5.8 would that be considered average because of the length or would a girl say that it's big? Just wondering.
Thanks again i will still probable use it until about i'm 6 around then stop by then i may even have 7 inches or close to.
EDIT: Do you think it may even out my penis girth too maybe? I think i'm more thicker at the midshaft.

james1947

I think 6" length and 5.8" girth is just fine, also according to the table.
I was 7" length and 5.8" girth I was close to 'A' now after lost to Peyronies and gaining some back mainly with VED I am barely 5.5" length and 4.7" girth, closing on 'D'.
But let's don't forget that two things are more important that size:
1. The arousal of your partner, connected also the her feelings to you and foreplay.
2. The length you can be erected before ejaculating, to give her enough time to orgasm.
We tend to give much importance to size, while the two points I mentioned above are usually more important to them.

Yeah i agree. I think it's more that i will have more confidence when having sex knowing that i have a maybe not big but pretty big (providing that i get my penis up to 7 inches). I just know it will help me talk to girls more as my penis curve etc has always stopped me. I've always thought my penis was 7 inches when really it was 6.5 because i was measuring it wrong.

Steve:

I don't think that you can get your size above what you had before Peyronies Disease. Perhaps, if you did some exercises to help ''grow'' a bigger penis while quit young and still in the developing stage of your sex organs, then you might have been able to produce a longer shaft.

In some countries of the world, young boys have weights put on their penises to produce elongated shafts. You can check this out on the web to see pictures of how this is done. However, I don't advocate your doing this since you are in the adult stage of your life.

My opinion is that you can recover lost dimensions by doing whatever safe exercises you can with extreme care as to not cause further trauma to your dick.

I had a congenital penile curvature of 45 degrees downwards. I recently had the STAGE technique surgery with Dr Franklin. He also correct this kind of right bulging on my penis of which made my penis look like it curved left. For 2 weeks i've been stretching the shaft but doing penile therapy and after that Dr Franklin said i can start using penis extenders of which he said i can gain 3 cm's from in 6 months of use. Alot of his patients have used this and gained an inch.
My worry is apparently you also gain girth of up to 0.6" of which f i gained my penis could start becoming thicker than 6 inches around. That is my worry. Websites recommend people to be 18+ and Dr Franklin said it was ok.

skunkworks

Some of the traction studies showed girth gains, some showed none. There is no specific number, so use it and keep tabs on your girth if you are worried about gaining too much. Average length gain in 6 months was around 1.5cm by the way, not 3cm. And that depends on you putting a lot of hours in.

BTW, my girth is 6.1 and no girls have been unable or unwilling to accommodate it. Asian girls sometimes had more trouble, but you just have to go slow.

I have gained back more than i lost in length with traction, but I've been using it for years now.

On their website they have a calculator and when i put in my size and 6 months it said will grow 3.05cm in 6 months, obviously this wont be 100% accurate but it seems to indicate it's the average/normal length it will grow. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience i think i will use it until around 6 girth or just above and see what length i get to. Maybe in thicker penises it won't grow as much?

skunkworks

Those calculators are just a marketing device for the manufacturers.

Independent clinical studies have shown the devices do work, but around half as well as the claims made on the manufacturer websites. Best for you to have realistic expectations about length gains.

Stevew87

Oh ok, well i will use it until i get 1 inch in length so could be a year :/. Anyways do you know how much roughly/the max my girth could gain once i've got an inch in length... like can you gain much more than 0.5 inches in girth along with 1 inch in length?

Stevew87

I emailed one of the main extender companies. He showed me their study which showed a mean of 1.78cm gained in 6 months. I think their calculators are for maximum or high quartile gains or something. Most people use it on average for about 6 hours. The guy said you can use it for up to 10 hours... i am keen to get quick gains. I don't think i will have sex until my penis is 6 and and half inches. Currently it's 6.

james1947

Extenders manufacturers have a strong interest to show you that the device makes miracles in gaining length and girth.
Better base yourself on the forum experience.

Well the average of 1.78cm gain is half of what they say on their website. Of which i think which was Skunkworks was referring to (the average part was on a study the guy linked me they did. Dr Franklin told me i could gain 1-3cm in 6 months wearing it 2 hours a day.
I mean what gains have you guys found? Problem is alot of people on this forum use it for peyronies, i did check another forum and people said it normally takes 700-1000 hours to gain an inch in length. Although for some lucky few it can take 200 hours even.
The more pressure/time used apparently the faster your gains but i don't want to risk saftey. What do you guys think? Probable going to buy the Andropenis set with the comfort kit.

skunkworks

i gained a bit over a cm in the first 6 months. The 1.5cm number I told you is not from manufacturer studies, but from the independent ones that have been run.

But results vary, so putting in the hours and measuring what happens is literally your only course of action if you decide to use traction. Talking about the possible gains does not help as you could be a great responder or a poor one, and you will not know until you try.

There's no doubt in my mind that i will start using it. It's just i need to do 2 weeks of these penile therapy stretches (just had congenital penis curve surgery) then i can use the extenders. I'm just wondering how long it will take roughly to get a certain amount say half an inch. I don't want to have a girlfriend/have sex until i'm a fair bit of 6 inches only because i've always thought i was 7 but due to the curve and minimal length loss from surgery i'm 6 right now. I know 6 is a pretty decent length it's just i will feel alot more confident with 6 1/2+

Stevew87

I contacted ANDROpenis support... they are saying you must wear it for 9 hours to use their special method involving alot of rod changing which is difficult but would be for 4 hours... i mean i cannot wear it for 9 hours in one day. Is there going to much difference from wearing it 6 hours instead like are they just saying 9 hours so their stats are better?

Jonbinspain

There was an independent report -Italian, I think - that suggested 6hrs daily was optimal for extending penile length. No increase in girth was reported, however.

Don't obsess about your size so much. As we used to say, "It's not what you've got, it's what you can do with it"  The vast majority of women are nowhere near as concerned about the size of your dick, as you are.

james1947

I know thats true but i thought i had 7 inches before atleast it definitely looked like it now it's like 6 it's kind of sad and has lowered my confidence of which wasn't the highest already so i mean i would really liek to get to 7. And no girth gains would be perfect for me. I really do not need or want those. I think i will do it for 6 because this guy i think was probable pushing 9 so their results will look better or something. He was like if you don't do 9 hours... ''do it at your own risk'' as if i was going to risk breaking my penis if i did it for 8 hours and a half...

Just wanted to note that the "Penis size guide" link that was posted earlier in the thread is a massive piece of crap. Yeah, lots of guys walking around with 8''x6 1/2" dicks.......which was noted as "ideal"......that's like looking at 300 pound bodybuilders and saying that is normal and ideal, every woman wants that......Thats big for a pornstar.
Average girth is under 5"......

james1947

You are right nowhereman.
I have posted in an other place already:
Average erect penile length 5.4"=13.7cm
2% man have over 7.5"=19.05
Average erect girth 4.8"=12.3 cm
We are giving far more importance to the subject than woman does.

I want extra length though. My penis looks pretty fat... i dont want more girth just length so it looks better and i will be alot more comfortable.

bigfish

I have lost significant length and girth about 50% with an average size to begin with. My question is can I get back lost length with a VED or would it be better to use a traction device?

Ideal does not equal average or common. Plus it was a survey of women, and they are notoriously bad at guessing penis size from looking at one, usually overestimate the size by quite a bit.

Edit. Actually the source is dead, so I can't see what their source of information was but I do recall vaguely when it first came out that it was  survey of women.

I have had some small success in regaining some lost length with traction. I would point out that the main objective for me is to reduce curvature. This, I have also had some success in. Of course, an increase in length will also lead to a reduction in curvature, which is the objective of many of us.

Stevew87

Thanks for the replies guys! Anyone know though how long i should wear it for per day?

skunkworks

Start slow at a couple hours a day and build up, make sure you have measured the tension on your device also. Start low with tension also.

The experts will tell you to shoot for 2-4 hours a day. More if you can work it in. In any event never wear it more then 2 hours at a time without taking a 15-20 minute break.

Thank god wearing it for 9 hours seems crazy...

skunkworks

9 hours is probably an overly optimistic goal, and definitely not something you even want to attempt until you have been using the device for 6 months+. The average was 4 hours, upper end on some studies was 6 hours (which is hard to do anyway) with one study having a few participants that averaged 8 hours.

You definitely shouldn't be doing more than 2 at the start anyway. Traction is not and cannot be a race.

Knight

Think about all the guys that have ended up on forums like this because they injured themselves trying to make themselves bigger. I'd rather have a smaller penis than a broken penis.

Think about it.

Gaining an inch isn't going to change your world for the better our make you sexually more attractive.

In my opinion your biggest issue is between your ears, not between your legs. Be grateful for what you have, accept yourself for who you are and try to be realistic about how much you can physically change the size of your body.

Good luck!

Stevew87

I'm pretty sure no guy has injured themselves peyronies from using a traction device. Dr Franklin my surgeon seems to think it's safe and many of his clients have used it. Your right though but it's quite sad seeing my penis now where before it looked a fair bit bigger, it's something that i cannot just accept. And thanks skunk i will probable use it for 2 then 4 once i've gotten used to it.

Stevew87

Dr Franklin said you should use it at least 3 h daily, the more you use it the better it is regarding length gain. I will do 4 hours at least everyday, just wondering if i some days did 6+ hours randomly would this speed the process up a little or make no difference.

Just as we have a certain protocol for VED usage, we have recommendations on how to use traction. And the way to use traction for Peyronies is DIFFERENT than what the web sites will tell you for penis lengthening. So Knight you are correct that I think they are risky if you try to follow the lengthening directions. We are after therapy and treatment here, not overnight penis lengthening techniques.

Oh ok. I mean Dr Franklin seems to think it's safe then i will at least try it out and yes it is different i think for peyronies it comes with different attachments. I mean there is no safer way of penile lengthening, jelqing can cause peyronies and do other damage aswell.

Man, a lot of you guys are (re)gaining size with VED or traction with succes, while I can't even get out of active phase after years and if I ever dare to use a VED no matter how short or how low the intensity I always end up hurting myself even worse. I just don't get it. Could it be that my case doesnt respond well to VED and traction because jelqing and ved are actually what started my peyronies in the first place and therefore it's different than most of you? I'm clueless and so are my doctors. I wish VED would work for me too.
