Novel treatment?

While visiting my GP recently he mentioned a uro convention he visited this summer. At it he said there was a presentation on new method of treating the disease, by syringing some kind of substance into the urethra which permeates through into the corpus Cavernosum and somehow fights the disease. But, he could not recall the name of the treatment. Has anyone heard of anything like this?

I hope it exists but I wonder what it was.. Perhaps he can find out for you?
