So this may be a stupid question, but how many of you used your traction for over the 6 month period charted out by andropenis? Is this the standard for all devices? Can I use my traction past 6?

It's also worth mentioning that my device has fallen apart and it's time to get a new one. I've had a lot of issues with this sucker, but also many things to be grateful for. (One time, I dropped it in a Public toilet and soaked it in rubbing alcohol for 3 hours).

Also, I'm curious to know if anyone could manage 9 hours a day consecutively. I average about 6 - 7, but even still it's been a long time since I've seen significant improvement. For all of you who either have andropenis or are looking into andromedical, you should know my biggest regret was purchasing this over the regular model. The best results I could possibly find came from the exact noose position the original provides. (Even though peyronie is double the price).
Loss of erections since 2014.

Erection quality sufficient for s*x when all used together.

Voltage,
Is the chart that Andropenis provides, is it for Peyronies treatment or penile lengthening? Most of these manufacturers sell their devices as penis lengthening devices and that is what the instructions are charted for. Wear it for certain number of days, and lengthening rod, repeat.

You DO NOT need to follow this for Peyronies treatment. You wear it to a length you can comfortably tolerate. And also yes this  means you can continue beyond the 6 month period.

I have been using mine fairly consistently for about 18 months now. During that time, I have seen dramatic changes. I have no idea if those changes would have occurred with or without using the device. In any case, I feel that I am a bit addicted to it. I'm comfortable with my condition now, so I'm afraid to stop because I am fear things may not go in a positive direction. However, I have taken as much as two weeks off with no ill if effects. Also, I might mention that Dr. Levine told me that a minimum of three hours a day is enough to get the benefits. More is better, but if you aim for three or four hours it's probably fine. I suppose that eventually I will wean myself off of it, but I'm sure that I will use it on occasion to continue to manage the disease.

Im in the same habit as you mt. I'm addicted to the use in such a ritual sense. Whenever I go most of the day without it, I feel so unaccomplished. It sounds as if you're near the end of your peyronies plight and for that, I'm estatic for you! I can't wait until I get there too and I can finally move on with my life.

Thats great news -- when you say you have seen Dramatic Changes -- what do you mean? What has changed?

Thanks Al

Wonderful news mtricher,

Traction for several hours a day (by hand) gave me the same results. Even after 3 years of it I am still seeing changes in erection quality. I seem to consistently hit new levels of improvement that I didn't see possible before. I owe myself a nice device ; )

I have gone from a 60° curve to completely straight. I did post some pictures in that part of the forum, but I have progressed even beyond that. I'm certainly not cured, because I have plaque and some indentation. But I don't have any curvature, so from my perspective that's a win. I am just one case, but I do believe that consistent pressure and stretching on the plaque causes it to evolve and change differently than if you didn't do anything. I have minimal loss of length. I really did not expect to have as much changes I did, I was on the verge of getting surgery. I don't know if I was just lucky, or how much the traction made a difference. Like all of us we try everything and hope for the best.

Good to read about your results Mtricher. Wish you continue improve with the plaque and the indentations.

Hey mt,

Did you ever regain the loss of length with your traction? Hopefully your efforts will reward you in that category as well.

That sounds great-- I can't seem to find an approach to solving this Peyronies problem. I'm struggling for an answer on the best approach--- I'm sorry but I just don't trust the Doctors--It's a terrible thing to say but I don't trust them-- I want so badly to find someone to trust to help me but I keep coming up empty-- I have heard the traction works so I'm looking into the best traction device to get -- I certainly don't want to wear a device for 6 months and find out it was all a waste of time but I guess I will begin there for now.

My Doctor wants to run me through a bunch of very expensive Verapamil shots that many say are useless-- so I'm lost and looking for some solid help-- can anyone help me?

I would avoid the verapimil injections personally. Too few have a good result, and some have reported the injections making things worse.

Traction works. It worked for me, it has worked for people here and there are also studies behind it, someone put the whole list of them together here - Treating Peyronie's with Penis Extenders - Studies and Evidence

Read this thread first though - Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums  , specifically the "Best initial treatments / things you can do immediately" section, as it sounds like that is exactly the kind of information you need right now.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.
