Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Mending the Bend

Vitamin E won't make Peyronie's any worse, nor will it harm you if taken in reasonable doses. And it may confer some small benefit for wound healing and fibrosis, especially if taken in combination with the myriad other remedies and treatments that are suggested here on the forum. I see no reason not to add it to a supplement regimen.

That being said, a urologist's advice of "take Vitamin E and call me in 6 months" is another thing entirely. It should be one small quiver in our arsenal of arrows.

i have added 2x400 gms tablets  daily of Vitamin E as i have plenty in my stock .
i agree with mending-the-bend that it may add some support .. who knows ...

Reason not to Take E,

Long list of warning and side effects based on health are given at the WebMD website, just search on Vitamin E and click the side effects tab. Just a little bit scary.

Why to take vitamin E?

Life Extension and Swanson both have a full spectrum Vit E.  There are whole food vitamins that in theory have the full spectrum too.  Mega Foods comes to mind.  There is Juice plus but I don't like MML companies as they are always too expensive and just hyped way too much.  I know there are others.

Not sure what you mean by reasonable price?  Swanson will be the cheapest.

Study shows that Vitamin E may cause premature death. This sounds a bit iffy to me, even if it does come from a credible medical source, it is all a review of the outcome of another study.

Vitamin E in full spectrum is good to take espacially topical with a transdermal agent.
It can reduce fibrosis and inflammation. Trapped Inflammation of the tunica is one of the causes of peyronies. Vit E directly adminstered to it might ease that inflammation.
No need to create any panic about Vit E beeing harmfull. Everything is harmfull if taken without common sense in abnormal quanties.

AC Grace makes a liquid full spectrum Vit E.

It is the synthetic Vit E  that can cause issues.

Using it topically is harmless in moderation.  As long are you the natural form and don't over do it.

It is questionable if it actually helps with peyronies.  It does help with scaring on the skin surface but the question is can it adequately penetrate to the tunica.

Jonbinspain

I have just started an experiment using pure organic  Vit E oil topically. Along with organic castor oil and cider vinegar. I am using  90% DMSO gel in the hope that this will enable these ingredients to reach the target area. It's early days yet, but if it shows any promising signs, I'll report back.

It seemed to me that Vit E, along with some other remedies may only be of any use if they can be used directly on the problem itself. The trouble with any oral medication is that so much of it is used by the body before it reaches the intended target.

Sounds very good, please keep us posted! And yes this is the problem espacially with the tunica.
Any Oral medication is just additional, Once the plague is matured oral medications are pretty useless for the plague itself.

I made good experience with dmso solutions but you have to do it daily or it will harden again.
I can use my penis  thanks to this treatment again without much pain.

If you manage a treatment for some weeks and better months without breaks then scars can change. It would go very fast if the scar was superficial. Its just in the most idiotic position in our case,

James,  my post was an error.

I think my intention was to encourage Jonbinspain to report on what he found with his test.
