Hi guys,

I'm going to be making a 20 mg cialis purchase pretty shortly from river pharmacy. Can anyone comment on this pharmacy and their cialis supply?

My other question is regarding pill-cutters. Can anyone recommend a decent one that can cut up to 4 different portions or more?

Thanks!

I would like also to get a pill-cutter as I am cutting with a knife and it is not accurate.

I got the Pillmate Pill Cutter but its not accurate, I think anything that obscures the sight with a cover as you're cutting isn't going to be good.

Guys:

Most good pharmacies have pill cutters in their health and beauty sections of their medical supply section. In the States, the named stores, like Walmart, Walgreen and other main line drug stores have a selection of the cutters.

My personal cutter is from Walmart and it is a really good quality little device and allows cutting pills into at least 4 pieces with no tearing apart. The size of pills can be varied as the holding area of the pills before cutting is about a 90 degree angle, etc.

I would suggest that anyone trying to find one, do a Google search. EBay and Amazon also has them listed.

For cutting round pills (like the Cialis from River Pharm) there is a trick I've discovered that virtually eliminates the "smashing" problem that produces irregular, crushed pieces.

Instead of laying the pill flat, stand the pill on its edge, perpendicular to the razor blade (leaned against the rubber "V" guards so it is slightly angling back toward the cutting blade.  Press the blade into the thin edge of the pill a bit to begin the cut, maybe 1/3 of the way through, and you can simply separate the two halves with you fingers - no need to cut all the way through.  Then lay one of the halves flat side down (the edge with the exposed white medication visible), narrow edge up, and do it again.  The thin edge of the pill takes a much finer cut that is possible when trying to cut the pill laying flat, which too often results in compression and crushing.

See if it doesn't work - you'll be pleasantly surprised. (This works for quartering the pill - I wouldn't recommend trying to get into eighths or anything like that).
