Porn addiction - Injury - And now Plaque ... ?!

Hello everybody,

I'm a german man of 27 years who has been just diagnosed with peyronies.

I'll try to keep my intro here as short as possible but I'm afraid there is a lot to talk about in my case.

Background: I'm a severe porn addict for roughly eight years and I had a time were I was basically obsessed with the idea of getting a bigger penis. Long story short, I tried jelqing a couple of time and another thing called clamping with a cock ring. How stupid I was ... >:(
One day, back in 2009 if I remember correctly, the cock ring got stuck for maybe 3 – 5 minutes so I couldn't strip it any further towards the gland.
I guess my right cavernous body was injured then, because since then I have a somewhat "weaker" part of my right cavernous body (from the shaft to maybe 1/3 of the length of the penis) and a little, tangible scar-like tissue inside. Due to this, my penis doesn't get as hard as it used to get, but only about 80%. As a consquence my erection isn't as stable as it once was and almost always slightly bent.

Sidenote: I haven't had a full blown, arousal-based erection for years, because of porn induced ED. My last rock-hard, healthy erection was maybe with 17 years, that means ten years ago. Oh, btw, I'm still a virgin. :(

Fast forward: I finally saw a doctor about two years ago = in 2012 (remember, three years after the incident with the cock ring happened). The doctor did a ultra sound and said everything was ok. But till this very day, my feeling told me different. Something was wrong. Fortunately the condition didn't get worse over the years but maybe even a little bit better.

Yesterday I saw another specialist. He examined the penis with his hands (no ultra sound though) and said it was a plaque but not a hard one. I guess he wasn't quite sure himself and wanted to say that it was more of a precursor of a plaque than a real one.
The doctor went on to say, that there's no treatment for this, apart from surgery (but only as the last option) and maybe Vitamin E supplements. In some cases Viagra, Cialis etc. may be helpful and he explained that there's probably a new treatment method in the US soon were some drug is injected in the cavernous body so that the plaques disappear. Anybody heard from this ?

I'll see another uro in about ten days to get his opinion and plan the next steps.

The visit at the second urologist yesterday was a major wake up call for me. I must stop porn consumtion and excessive masturbation NOW, for the sake of my sexual, spiritual and mental health.

Maybe some veterans in this forum could give me some advice ? Thank God, I don't seem to be a hopeless case and I haven't lost hope for a complete and lasting recovery yet. So rebooting from porn and masturbation is first priority now and then we'll see.

That said, I've just skimmed through the alternative treatment section and it has tremendous advice.  :)
I'd like to mention some things I discovered for myself:

Pelvic floor exercises (especially kegels and reverse kegels) seem to have a very good effect on my scar tissue – after an intense kegel workout, the scar disappears of it's own for a couple of seconds, most likely because the cavernous body is "tigher" then.

I workout regularly and try to get my diet and lifestyle as clean as possible. I do mostly bwe stuff so it's kind of hard to really hit the important muscles of the legs and glutes. But I do kb-swings, back bridges, bw-squats, all sort of jumps, sprints etc. Should I focus more on the classical weightlifting movement such as deadlifts, squats etc. ?

A little bit embarassing but nonetheless: I used to own several fleshlights (hyperstimulating artifical vaginas, made of rubber-like material). After I masturbated with this toys my morning erections in general seemed to be a lot harder and healthier. It seemed to me, that this deviced trained the pelvic floor muscles more deeply, thoroughly and intense than conventional pelvic floor training.
But for me these toys are a no-no now, at least till I'm 100% back to balance.

At the moment I supplement L-Arginine and Vitamin E daily. Should I get other prescriptions from my doc ? What do you think ?

I'm a big believer in meditation and visualisation, although I'm a christian. Maybe that could help too ?!

I just started to read a book by an american doctor, something like "Factor Hardness" or something and I'll do my best to implement as much as possible in my life.

Another uro in an online forum told me that PD5-inhibitors in a low dose could have a positive effect in reducing scar tissue. Should I insist on getting those ?

In a nutshell my theory is the following: good blood supply, healthy muscle tone and a clean diet = stronger erections (especially in the night) = more nutrients = more healing. Or it could have the adverse effect by creating more microtrauma and therefore making matters worse (that's my fear at the moment).

I try to stay as calm and focussed as possible although this diagnosis was a kind of a shock today. But I think it is way to early to panic and the way I see it, there isn't all hope lost for me. There's always a way ...

Any comments, questions or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and

All the best !

GE87,
I highly suggest that you read up on VED usage on this forum. There is a single board dedicated to this topic. It seems this might be the best therapy to get you "back to balance".

Welcome to the boards,

As LWillisjr says, you should consider VED therapy, pumping low and carefully. It has the potential to fill out dents or the hourglass effect. It brings oxygen rich blood into the penis, which can prevent fibrosis and promote healing. Traction is also helpful in straightening the penis and returning sexual function. No jelqing whatsoever.

Please consider the standard oral treatments for Peyronies, being pentox, low dose cialis, CoQ10, and Acetyl-L-Carnitine.

As you say you need learn to control your habit. I also think I damaged myself from years of seated masturbation and pelvic clenching. The good news is that my erectile function has come back and my Peyronies is now mostly gone. Take a long break from even checking your penis. Communities like yourbrainonporn, yourbrainrebalanced, or nofap, are filled with helpful people and information to get you through your addiction. I found that even taking one week off masturbation or erection checking is an extremely hard thing to do, but always worth the effort in my own case.

Reverse kegels are good too. Try to relax your pelvic area at all times. I'm in the same boat as you, in the sense that I am constantly trying to avoid porn, pelvic clenching, or masturbation binges, but I can tell you that for me personally, it's made all the difference, and now I'm quite happy with my penis and sexual ability. You can do this man! I encourage you to read up as much information possible on these boards. Take your time and commit to healing.

Low dose Cialis helps for ED and softening the plaque, usually with VED and Pentox.

James
Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.

Cialis is not cheap i got 8 20mg tabs for 150 before going os! Whats low dose?

NeoV

Low dose is 2.5 - 5mg a day.

Consider a cheaper alternative for ED such as Arginine or Pycogenol.

For Cialis, try out the link bellow. I am buying the 20 mg and cut to 4 or 5.

So you get erectile disfunction from this? I still go rock hard but have a kink/week spot in my shaft. So i can expect erectile disfunction from this :-\
So guessing i dont need cialis for now, thought maybe it helped with it in other ways.

(Note only reason the doc gave me cialis was because when i first discovered it it was playing mind games so couldnt get fully hard, but no trouble now)

If you don't have ED, low dose Cialis (2.5 mg) with Pentox and VED may soften the plaque.
