Can anyone relate to this?

Ok so i have a 35-40 downwards curve. I thought it curved left too... but it actually just bulges out with the girth making it look like it does curve left... but there is no actual curve on the left side. Dr Franklin (going to be having STAGE surgery soon) said he can fix this but i have to expect 5-10mm in length loss although sometimes even less if they can perform a proper
chordectomy. Anyone else had this done? Basically it will even out my girth. My penis is also thicker on top but i don't think it is as nearly as much as on the right side.

I'm worried though because if a girl is giving a blowjob and it's on the thicker side it can be difficult.... and if it's bigger on top aren't her teeth going to grind on the top, guess it depends how much bigger my penis is on the top side.
Thanks alot guys!
I will probable loose 0.3-0.5cm from the downwards curve incision (not including the extra incision).
I mean i have full confidence in him but just wondering if anyone else has the same issue/if it's uncommon for penises to be like that.

it makes some sense, i can relate similary to that. Well chordectomy... you can first start to search some info on wikipedia searching for the name of "chordee". It is basic info but will give you some hints. Some doctors even before correcting the congenital curvature preform a chordectomy. Chordee (normally associated with hypospadias) apparently can be present with a anatomical normal penis. Chordee is a kind of inelastic tissue/fibrotic tissue (that is congenital) that somehow may have arrested normal and simetrical tissue development during puberty or even way before (fetal stage?). That can cause deviations or asymmetry (seen in some congenital curvatures). Chordectomy basically means incising (and removing) those small portions of inelastic tissues in order to try to release any force causing bendings, etc... Generally it is not problematic at all. Those inelastic tissues are normally located under the uretha between bucks fascia, dartos fascia and the skin. Mmmmm if i remember well that was done in my case but Doctor kuehhas said it was not significant.
Congenital Curvature is a complex issue, there are still a lot of theories whats causing it in the first place. Fetal development? Childhood? Puberty?... Congenital curvature can appear in different "shapes" and for that need sometimes tiny modifications (technically) to correct them or a refined approached. Thats why experienced doctors, good technical skills and expertise is nedeed. Otherwise you would go to a general urologist and he almost instantanly would recommend a traditional nesbitt surgery. Some people have only downward curvatures, others downwards and lateral at the same time, others have upwards, others have shaft rotation, others may have slight asymmetries between coporal bodies, in the tunica, etc...

So when he's correcting my downwards curve he will even out the penis too on top in order to correct it? but as with my thing on the right side which weirdly doesn't cause a curve he can do an extra incision.... i'm just worried i will need an extra incision to correct the bulging on top aswell as on the right.... but i'm hoping it's already done during the curve fixing process?
EDIT: i'm concerned because it will be around 0.4cm loss for treating the downwards curve... but with correcting the bulge on th right it may be 5-10mm, sometimes less if he does it perfectly. But like what if i need it done on top so it's an extra possible 0.5cm to 1cm...
Thanks alot!

My doctor also promise me just like what you said, it's sounds like chordee also by stitching the longer side. My 20degrees curvature just became 35 degrees now, its just make it worst. what i suggest to you is choose the best who have a lot of experience in that case.

Can u still perform sex even with 35 degrees curvature? I also have downward curvature due to rough masturbation.

Chordectomy is done before any deviation correction, after degloving. Only after that corrections are done, step by step always measuring geometrically to ensure objective and precise corrections. Talk with him if it is really important to solve that "weird" curvature or "bulging" as you say. My upper corpora cavernosa bodies seem a bit more developed and dont seem problematic at all. The fact that you upper bodies seem/are a bit more developed it is probably caused by diferent tunica albuginia compliance/tensile force and may not be problematic. Talk with him before going ahead.

Does the penis being bigger on top girth wise like effect sex? I mean i just want it looking as normal as possible. The bulging on the right he said he should be able to fix with an extra incision. Dr Franklin is probably the best at congenital penis curves from what i have heard. I mean did a normal/non specialist urologist do your surgery delux?
Keepitstraight do you have any pictures you have posted on this website? I mean how much is it more developed on top?
EDIT: I found your post on the picture subforum, i thought i had seen them before. Anyways your penis looks like in proportion like the top looks normal and flat.

I do not think it affect sex. The curvature is the main problem. Like i said you have tot talk to him, do the physical exams. what we are looking is for stability during sex. Yep i posted 2 photos before and after but i think it is more noticeble from the top.

Stevew87

Yeah will do when i next see him. Just wondering did they put you under general anesthetic? Apparently i will just be sedated. If not then like did you feel anything?
Thanks alot!
EDIT: I just want it to look as normal as possible but i guess it being straight and usable should be the main focus. Luckily i found STAGE and didn't undergo nesbit!

in my case it was general anesthetic.

I had to recheck my math a few times, but, seriously--are we talking about worrying over fractions of a centimeter in penis length?

0.5 cm = < 0.2 inches. Can any doctor talk about length loss in those terms? Can anyone tell if they've lost or gained that much? What are they using, laser beams coupled to global positioning systems?

A centimeter is about 0.4 inches. Even when fully erect, my penis length varies way more than that depending on sunspot cycles, wind-chill factor, seasonality, and how nice a woman's smile is.

If someone talked to me about results that would change my penis length in fractions of a centimeter, I wouldn't care. There isn't a woman in the world who would know about a whole centimeter plus or minus.

I'm not belittling the importance of the overall issue. I'm just saying that the length changes here are too small to even be measured with any accuracy, so don't worry about that part.

I am with you Ursus on the importance or not of 0.5 cm.
Anyhow, I am measuring always in the VED after 20 minutes of pumping so it is giving me some accuracy. Still is changing between 12.7 and 13.2 cm.

Agreed 0.5cm for me is nothing. But i may need an extra incision to like fix my weird girth distorsion. Apparently i have to expect 0.5cm to 1cm of length loss although sometimes i can be less. So if i have it....
I could potentially loose 1.5cm. Of which is more than half an inch...

By the way, the bellow quote is from Dr. Kuehhas website:
QuoteNo penile shortening - significant penis length and girth restoration can be achieved (average of 3cm)

Yeah but this is like an extra incision. By the way my case is congential. It seems to have naturall grown out more on my right side, it actually looks curved to the left but it isn't.
