My interesting conundrum...

Hi
I developed peyronies about 10 years ago, it started off with 3-4 lumps on one side and some minor pain after a short time the pain stopped and the lumps went away but following that lateral almost "ridges" developed and hardened,
these thin but hard ridges are numerous on both sides of the penis but at a about midway on one side they are closer together which causes a  curve maybe 15 degrees.

Now after a couple of years of this the progression suddenly stabalised and it is unchanged now for maybe 7-8 years.
I had checked out this site and others back then and considered myself fortunate as it never really interferred with me sexually beyond its appearance or caused any real pain, and I read and saw there was no real treatments that worked. And I resigned myself to my penis being like this for life.

Recently I took L-cartinine for strength and health reasons and noticed an unexpected side effect, the hard ridges had softened and were almost rubber like, after checking the internet it seems that I had stumbled on a something that might actually work! However, once I stopped the ALCAR they hardened again and even when I took it there was no change in the structure the ridges just felt softer.

My plan now is to take ALCAR and use a VED, to gently stretch the softened ridges.
My concern is that maybe I should leave sleeping dogs lie.
Im not happy with the appearance of my penis but there is no pain and it does what its supposed to, I'm worried that if after so many years of stability that I might cause damage and see my penis degrade further.

Looking forward to some feedback, thanks.

In my opinion, ALCAR is a useful supplement anyway. I was taking it before I contracted Peyronie's.

A VED is also o.k. Providing you use it as proscribed.

Thanks, do you think that both of them together would reduce the plaques?

If theres little risk of making it worse I might as well try it.

I am not a doctor, but adding additional treatment components to ALCAR it may help, as helped me and others.
VED, Pentox, low dose Cialis, CoQ10 may contribute to softening the plaques.

Experiencing the same. Softening. But whenever I stop my treatment it hardens again. I need a way to revitalize the softened tissue totally ..

I am taking now just low dose Cialis and doing VED.
The softening is still there.

same happening to me.

They get softer and then when I stop everything they harden again.

Seems like the body has no means or initiative to get rid of the soft plagues and encapsulates them.
stuck there too.
Thinking that it might take a long(continous!!) time.

You might consider making a new thread as they will close this one after 10 posts to dicuss this further.
