Possible Peyronies Disease with no curvature

A little back story:  several months ago I injured myself using a vacuum pumping device,  I wasn't using this for Peyronies Disease, but for enlargement (stupidly).  The injury made my penis go numb for weeks and caused some ED, which prompted me to go to a urologist.  The first urologist told me the nerve damage should be temporary and any ED I experienced was either from the loss of sensitivity or worrying about it, the second urologist I saw prescribed a small dose of viagra and upon palpation he told me he felt a very slight Peyronies.  He told me to take a lot of vitamin E and sent me on my way.  At this point I was more concerned about getting sensation back and being able to get an erection (ruling out vascular leak and the like).

It took a couple of months but sensation has come back and I'm able to get and maintain erections now, but I noticed this past week I have been having more painful erections and afterwords my penis is sore.  I may have been overdoing it (multiple times a day), but this has me concerned about Peyronies.

In it's flaccid state I have noticed a bit of an hourglass shape, I don't know if this is normal or an indication of Peyronies Disease.  I have no curvature, but my erection does sit at about a 90 degree angle while standing (a little lower than normal).  And if i do push it up towards my belly when I'm fully erect I do feel pressure.  Part of this may be genetic but I'm sure part of it was caused by masterbation habits when I was younger (i used to pull my erection down when masturbating).  I used to be pretty rough with it and getting bounced on etc probably hasn't helped the situation.  I was also on finasteride for years, I don't think that caused my problems, but I can't rule it out as a contributing factor.

At this time I'm not really concerned about girth/length etc. I just want to prevent further damage or progression.  After injuring myself months ago I threw my vacuum pump in the trash, now from what I've been reading it seems that can help some people that have Peyronies Disease.  Does pumping actually prevent plaque from forming / calcifying or does it just prevent the loss of length / girth as a result of this disease?

What had happened to me is the constricting band around the base was too tight and caused nerve damage to the nerves that go up into the penis, this has actually been healing, but I didn't want that to happen again.  It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if I've had a lot of other micro traumas to my unit as I used and abused it for years.

The actions I have taken now are: Acetyl L-Carnitine, L Argenine, and vitamin e supplements as well as quitting finasteride for the time being.  I also have some topical solution called Man1 oil that I bought in desperation when I lost all sensation in my penis months ago, I'm not sure how effective topical solutions are (how much is actually absorbed), but it couldn't hurt.  Is there any other conservative action I can take to prevent this from worsening?  Any advice for monitoring it when I cannot see any curvature nor feel any plaques?
Earlier this week I may have had some minor trauma that may have contributed to my current state.  Is the pain during/after erection an indication of plaque formation or progression of this disease?  Or am I looking to far into it?
I'm in my late 20s by the way.

Pain during erection does not have to mean Peyronie's, but your question is like asking "does elbow pain during weight lifting mean elbow tendonitis?", meaning any penile trauma or damage is a risk factor. You may also be describing pain that's originating from your lymph vessels or veins. I had a VED injury which also made me numb due to lymph damage, and here one year later I'm not entirely healed. Recently I had some stinging around the base. Numbness or loss of sensation can be caused simply by lymphatic fluid under the skin.

Any hourglassing is not good, and soreness after sex or masturbation is what I had for years until my symptoms really started getting bad. Post ejaculatory bending or soreness will cause permanent bending, avoid it at all costs. Don't go on masturbation binges and always masturbate carefully and with a maximum erection. I recommend that you do not clench your PC muscles to orgasm or to make your penis hard. It's easy to get into a nasty spiral of inflammation, where soreness causes you anxiety, so you want to check your erections constantly. Leave it alone, make your erections count.

What you describe warrants future care so you don't get Peyronie's, and since the only way to know for sure is an ultrasound, we don't know. You need to see a true Peyronies specialist and get that ultrasound. Then think about if you want to take pentox.

Do not use the constrictive bands!!!

Those are only for VED usage as a means to maintain erection, it's dangerous if you ask me. VED therapy on the other hand is an entirely different practice!! Read on the VED sub forums here and look at the protocol.

The pump helps expand the tissue and stretch the scars. It also brings oxygen rich blood into the penis, and into damaged areas that can't expand with natural erections.

You could add CoQ10 300 mg a day to your supplements but honestly if I could go back in time when my hourglassing started, I'd leave my penis alone and masturbate less and more carefully. Interestingly though you mention some pressure you've had since a young age. I have something similar, and I think it made me predisposed to Peyronie's. Once I began stretching my penis to address that my Peyronie's also started to go away.

Be careful and see a specialist.

Thanks for the reply.  You said any hourglassing is not good.  I guess I didn't know it was that abnormal, or rather that it's always a bad sign.  I think I noticed the hourglassing happening after I started pumping.  It's not that one part is slimmer than the rest, it's that (when flaccid) half way down the shaft it bulges out more.  The strange thing is it's not always the same.

Right now I haven't been aroused since, but it just feels like I have a dull itch or rubber band tied around the shaft.

Yea, I think constrictive bands are dangerous.  I messed with that some too, but now I know better.  As far as VED therapy, I have a hard time finding a vacuum device that fits me.  Although I'm small when flaccid I'm pretty thick when erect.  I never measured the circumference, but magnums are a little too tight for me girth wise.  The thing is, I don't want to get any bigger, or risk injuring myself even more, I just don't want this to progress.

I thought about taking pentox, but one I doubt either of the urologists I saw would prescribe it to me, so I would have to go online and illegally order it.  And two, I'm not sure it would be smart in my case as I've had low platelets for the past few years.

I'm sorry to hear about that,

Unfortunately Peyronie's isn't an exact science. But what you describe feels and sounds like mine, as i there's a rubber band around my penis half way up under the skin.

Again the best advice I can give you is to see a Peyronie's specialist and get an ultrasound. I don't take pentox either, but I'd recommend CoQ10 300mg a day. : ( The worst part of this damn disease at times is the uncertainty. Just hang in there man.

I'll look into the CoQ10.  I just took a closer look at my erect penis, and I actually do see some signs of a slight curvature, some kind of indention on the left side while the right side remains straight or very slightly convex.  This sucks, I don't know if it's been that way a long time or if it's something new.  It's still pretty much straight, just slightly concave on the left and convex on the right side.
